Drinking this is presumably what it's like date to date a supermodel:stunning to look at, smells nice, and certainly sweet, but lacks a certain depth. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Dark body white head nice lacing. Vibrant vanilla aroma. Taste is sweet vanilla cocoa. Roasty too. Really nice.

Tap - pours black with a tan head. Aroma is coffee, chocolate and lactose. taste is nice balance of roast malt and choc vanilla.

On tap at Thirsty Crow, pours black with a small light brown head. Aroma brings out lots of vanilla upfront, followed by lactose. Flavour brings out cloyingly sweet vanilla upfront, followed by lactose sugars. Not very well-blended but it’s not a disaster. Meh.

Definitely enjoy this beer. Always go back for more. Occasionally fill a growler. Good aroma with good mouth feel

On tap at Scratch during Weekend of Darkness. Not as much vanilla on the nose or palate as I was expecting. However, it was a delicious, smooth drinking stout. I don’t always handle lactose in beers, but that wasn’t a problem. I’d been looking for this for over a year and glad it made it north out of Wagga.

Dark pour. Aroma is big vanilla! Taste is the same without the fullness or richness. Pretty thin. Nice drinker but not super exciting.

Taster at GABS 220515. This was served at almost room temperature which brought out the flavour and aroma nicely. A deep dark black colour like all good stouts.

Bottle from Beer Cartel (June 2014). Slightly cloudy black, large tan head, vanilla, cocoa, dry roast grain, nutty chocolate brownie, medium body, smooth creamy texture, sweet but dry finish. Quite good.

Pours black with a small tan head. Nose shows cocoa, roasted malt, vanilla and a little coffee. Very roasty. Some lactose sweetness and vanilla as flavours but its mainly just the dry roast that pervades throughout. Gets a bit too sweet in the finish. Nice soft carbonation.
