Bottle. Ginger, nutmeg, and molasses malt aroma. Smells just like ginger bread. Hazy copper amber with a moderate tan head. Strong cardamom, ginger, and nutmeg flavor, and a touch of molasses. Medium body, soft carbonation. Cardamom was a little overpowering. It’s a spice better used with a light hand.

Kind of appalling that it was on tap weeks before Halloween, but whatever - what can you, right? C'est la vie. Poured a very slightly hazy orange color with a medium sized, fluffy off-white head. Aroma was cinnamon, herbal notes, spices, nutmeg. Very malt forward in both aroma and flavor. Light spice finish, which was pleasant. Sweet.

Bottle from Swing Bridge Beer & Wine, Surf City, North Carolina. Amber-brown with no head. Sweet and spicy, although neither are too overbearing. Good winter ale with a small strength to it. MrHangover (4693) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - MAY 14, 2017
Bottle. Pours a clear orange beer with a big off white head on top. Aroma is massive herbal, lots of spices, cinnamon, honey and nutmeg and all those spices overwhelm the palate. Very herbal, lots of Christmas stuff going on for sure, not much else. Nice beer, a bit unbalanced. jflopsu (1862) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - FEB 22, 2017
