This poured a golden yellow with a white head. Aroma was of fruity and grassy hops and light diacytl. Flavor was similar, solid hop flavor, but followed by a slick buttery finish

On tap. Tropical fruit, mango aroma. Dark golden color with thin white head. Taste isn’t as good as the smell, buy still a nice fruity taste. Bitter end. Good IPA Brigadier (3725) - Chagrin Falls, Ohio, USA - MAR 23, 2014

This was a so-so hop driven beer that felt low key just like the tasting room I was drinking it in. I’ve had many better examples yet as a fall back staple this might make a nice happy hour special. Considering the source I’d say this is pretty par for the course.
Aroma / Appearance - A crisp golden base shimmers with a transparent hue and obvious carbonation. Lemon crisp, furniture polish, and sweetness tickle the nose without inspiring any excitement.
Flavor / Palate - Honey, almonds, sweet lemons, and a hop driven transition to a citrusy finish are the hallmarks of a competent release. This lacks the spark to make me want more than the sample pour but I’ve had worse. Other Ohio breweries in northeastern Ohio may do better IPAs. However this one is at least worth a tick if you are at the tasting room.
On tap at Over the Bars in Pittsburgh. Smooth and dry, with a hint of sweetness on the nose. Has a lasting head and a strong finish. JStax (7123) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - JUL 13, 2013
On tap at the source. Pours a translucent copper with a white head of foam. Aroma is big fruit and earthy bitterness. Taste is sweet fruits and bittering in the finish. Really good overall.

on tap at FH IPA fest 2012, I hope you’re kidding with this being an IPA, its just crap. Make more siberain night and Raspberry ale and be done with the rest. MadIndian (2743) - Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 19, 2012
On draft at Isaac Newtons. Eh. It was more of a pale ale. A bit thin in the body, but it did have mild notes of hop, citrus and caramel malts. It was ok. kassner (1686) - Wexford, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 28, 2012
On tap at mad mex in Cranberry, Nice looking beer with big head and lacing, golden color and unusual taste , mellow but not an IPA. Some malts but not huge Dogbrick (13520) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - APR 28, 2012
Sample at the Big Tap In on 04/21/2012, and my 50th beer by this brewer. Clear yellow-orange pour with a medium foamy off-white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Spots of lacing on the glass. Onion-forward aroma of Summit hops along with some malt. Medium body with flavors of hops, green onion, citrus and malt. The finish is hoppy with a lingering fresh onion aftertaste. Decent overall.
