buckybeer (666) - Eau Claire, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 2, 2007
Aquired from shigadeyo in a trade. Pours medium amber with a small frothy white head. Aroma is malts, corn, wheat. Flavor has a little spice zip to it along with caramel, light malts, touches of hops and citrus. Actually is pretty tasty. Thanks again Craig. JonR888710 (999) - Cochabamba, BOLIVIA - APR 27, 2007
Unusual color, golden-brown, cloudy with a big white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is wheat, honey, clove, lager hops. Tastes of coriander, wheat, alcohol and tart/tannic hops. Refreshing actually. Very tart and really unusual representation of the style. Purchased this 12 oz. bottle at World Market in Vienna, VA. mynameisjonas (206) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - MAR 21, 2007
nice golden lager. caramel flavor with some a malty aroma. pretty good overall beer despite the poor rating Fantomas23 (463) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 23, 2007
Hazy golden body, which surprised me as I was expecting something clearer and more copper in color. Poached pear drizzled with caramel sauce. Bit of a dry finish. I think much better than what the average score suggests. KiDAcE (35) - Canton, Ohio, USA - FEB 8, 2007
This one left me with a good impression however it was a bit in limbo and here’s why. The aroma was that of sweet caramel. The flavor though wasn’t what I was expecting since I had OLH first. Like OLH and it’s strong chocolate flavor this one lacked the strong caramel flavor. It is there you just have to find it. Still it’s one I could get more of.

This pours with a light orange color, more than "golden", nicely active and with just the barest remnants of a white head. There’s a light bready aroma. I like the texture ... pleasantly carbonated. Wow, this is yeastier than I’d expected almost like underbaked bread. Lightly caramelled, almost citric. Nice flavors. Nice beer. Clean, clear amber brew with thick sea-foam like head. Strong bread-like aroma a burnt toast like maltness, finishes with a slight citrus warmth. Immy (1955) - Virginia Beach, USA - JAN 3, 2007
12 oz bottle from Trooper11 - thanks Adam! Pours a clear light amber with a quick diminishing white head. Sweet toasty grain nose, light toffee. Sweet malty flavor, light toffee and caramel. Mildly herbal bitter finish. A solid Vienna - not sure why this is rated so low? ganache (5897) - New Jersey, USA - OCT 28, 2006
Bottle. Rich caramel and toffee nose with light fruitiness. Mostly malt with a little chalky/cellary component, slightly toasty. Golden-bodied with a slight orange tint and creamy beige head. Taste restrains the toast a bit and allows the fruitiness to come to the fore. No bitterness, mild-medium sweetness. Thin body, even watery. Again, mostly malty, with caramel leading the way, and a hint of butter, light herbs and veggie and even a splash of honey. Good one. porterhouse (1580) - Boothbay, Maine, USA - OCT 20, 2006
(Bottle from Tully’s) Seems kind of uninspired...Pours slightly hazy slightly orange golden with three fingers of off white head. Head forms some globs on surface after receding. Aroma initially bready but when head recedes there’s only a very light trace of caramel and perhaps some sour. Mouthfeel a little rough, lightly prickly, medium-body. No real lacing. Flavor is kind of weakly malty with a hint of sour citrus. Lightly bitter finish. Really seems more like a helles than a Vienna. This could be an older bottle based on the overall lackluster flavor, globs on the surface and light sour notes.
