Bottle. Somewhat malty sweet, drinkable, finishes clean. Not a lot happening but not offensive. Darkover (1538) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - FEB 25, 2004
Golden color with a small white head. Weird caramel/butterscotch aroma and flavor. dolemike1 (1288) - Jeannette, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 10, 2005
Golden, small white head, some malt in aroma, sweet flavor, light hop finish. Not overly impressive Slick (1969) - Thief River Falls, Minnesota, USA - APR 4, 2005
This brew is courtesy of my Bro, FootBalm.Nice amber/orange color, small white head that faded slowly and left a little lace in the center.Malty sweetish aroma with a light hop presence and a hint of caramel.Kind of flat on the flavor Malty taste with a slight caramel in there and the hops come through decent enough towards the middle and end with just a slight bitterness. As the brew warms up it gets a little better but not much, with just a little more caramel and hops showing through. Not the greatest brew but definately worth trying again.I think this is a brew that might grow on you after a few. Bottle. Golden color with medium white head. Aroma matchs the roasted malt style. Medium flavor of malt with a medium body with short finish. Not nearly as strong as resident state leader Eliot Ness.

Bottle. This one comes out hazy golden with no head at all - turns to slight lacing in only 10 seconds. Nose is actually of corn and biscuits, very macro brew like and not nice. Sweet malts dominate the flavor of this one and it is done well. High carbonation and surprising body and thickness as it glides down the throat. This one finishes with just slight hop bitterness along with that sweet, tongue coating malt. Decent beer, but not fabulous. ross (2146) - weddington, North Carolina, USA - APR 8, 2006
Yellow color, not much of a head. Sweet, fruity, easy to enjoy. Something I would drink alot of, but not something I would buy again. A nice alternative to BMC though. luckygirl (1223) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JUL 1, 2006
Beer is a clear medium orange-amber color with a small, frothy, beige, mostly and rapidly diminishing head. The aroma is malty with light-to-moderate notes of toasted grain, toasted nuts, light cookie and caramel; Hoppy with a moderate note of herb, light-to-moderate note of resin/pine. The flavor is moderately-to-heavily sweet, lightly bitter, lightly acidic with a long, slighly warm, moderately sweet, moderately acidic, lightly bitter finish. The body is light, the texture is watery and the carbonation is lively. Trooper11 (468) - Suffolk, Virginia, USA - JAN 9, 2007
Clean, clear amber brew with thick sea-foam like head. Strong bread-like aroma a burnt toast like maltness, finishes with a slight citrus warmth. stegosaurus (1882) - Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 18, 2007
Bottle sampled with Beerded_one. Pours hazy copper with a thin white sparce head. Aroma of caramel, citrus, and toast. The flavor is thin, weak, sweet, bitter, and citrusy. Watery body.
