On tap. Dark cooper color with white head. Malty taste with a slight biscuit taste. Dry aftertaste. Nothing special, but drinkable. kevd193213 (992) - Hope Valley, Rhode Island, USA - JAN 10, 2010
12 oz bottle. Aroma of malt and faint caramel. Nice even, surprisingly full taste of malt, caramel and grass. WabashMan (1024) - Noblesville, Indiana, USA - AUG 26, 2009
A brew with clear high and low points. Highs? The lovely appearance, with a nice medium copper color and off white head. The aroma, with a nice sweetness and some alcohol notes. Lows? The flavor, sadly. It’s thin and lacks much depth. A bit of malt and caramel sweetness, but it can’t live up to the aroma...not even close, really. Cybercat (6345) - Georgia, USA - JUL 21, 2009
Retired? Guess it’s a good thing I found a bottle when I did!
Aroma is strong, malty and fruity. It pours a clear golden amber with a thick off-white head that does not stick around too long. Flavor does not quite match the aroma, being malty with a hint of fruit and a touch of hops but mostly unremarkable; still, it satisfies. Texture is smooth and tingly, rather typical. Bottle Pours a hazy amber with an off white head. The head leaves quickly. Lacing is okay. Aroma is malty. Mostly caramel and grass. Has an okay cabonation. The mouthfeel is alright. Theflavor is spicy grass. Which really works for tis beer. Has a good malty endiing. Has a medium body. A thickier texture. The finish is good with a good aftertaste. Not a bad beer from a brewer who makes good beer.

12oz bottle. Pours pretty hazy, light golden color with a very small white head with poor retention. Aroma shows fresh barley, cracker, intensely malty. Very grainy, like barley husks. No hops to be found. Flavor is dry, malty, very low bitterness. Tastes the same as it smelled, crackers and barley. Could use a tad more hops. This is all right, not exactly what I think of when I think of Viennas though. Beerman6686 (6611) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 20, 2008
POured a light straw yellow color with a white head. Aroma was grassy some caramel and thats about it. Flavor was much the same, really bland, some hints of hop bitterness detected as well. alexsdad06 (11242) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - OCT 4, 2008
12 oz. botle. Pours a hazy dark golden/light amber color with a small off white head. There is some sediment that comes with the pour. The aroma is light caramel, toasted bread, and a hint of bitterness. The flavor has caramel malt, honey sweetness, a light amount of fruit, and some bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied at best, slightly watery and thin. Not bad, maybe better than I expected. Capa (3631) - DC, Washington DC, USA - AUG 22, 2008
Light haze on this copper brew. Sweet caramel malt, light grass, toasty malts, and some floral as well in the aroma. Full bodied and smooth. Nice toasted malt, caramel, and some earth/floral hops in the flavor. Refreshing and flavorful- this brew is well underrated. DrBayern (1140) - Morehead City, North Carolina, USA - AUG 5, 2008
Date: 12 oz. bottle on 8/30/08
Aroma - toasted grain , biscuit, some floral hops
Appearance - Clear orange, medium white head, reasonably durable
Flavor - Solid malt base of light sweetness with a gentle bitterness as it finishes
Palate - Light to medium body, smooht, clean
Overall - Refreshing, nice balanced flavors. Seems underrated to me.
