12 ounce bottle. Aroma us a sweet caramel with a hint of molasses. Deep malt character that is well balanced with a tiny hint of spice in the back end. Palate is fairly thick, a really good American oktoberfest. steelhead3686 (270) - Jacksonville, North Carolina, USA - OCT 6, 2013
Pours a clear copper with a thin white head. It has a slight spicy aroma with hints of earth and hay. It tastes medium sweet with a hint of bitter. The body is thin with crisp texture. I’m not a fan of Oktoberfest beers and this one doesn’t really help. It isn’t a beer that I’ll remember or even try to recall. TomTron (455) - South Carolina, USA - SEP 23, 2013
Trying to get in some marzens before the season is over and had never tried this one before. Pours a clear amber with no head. Faint aromas of spice and malts. Flavor is par for the course for marzens. Lots of malts and a bit watery but tasty. johnnyoski (445) - Macomb, Michigan, USA - SEP 17, 2013
Bottle. Clear amber color with a thin, off white head. Caramel malt and baked biscuit flavor with some subtle spices in the finish. Dry texture with average carbonation. A middle of the road marzen at a bit of an inflated price. DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - SEP 17, 2013
5oz taster on tap at Cincinnati Beer Fest. Totally clear orange / amber color. Good bigger off-white head. Caramel malt, breadiness in the aroma. Good lace. Medium body, smooth lighter carbonation. More dry finish. Moderate bitter taste. Solid oktoberfest.

Not worth brewing. Usual Oktoberfest. Nothing bad---but nothing worth buying. Clear amber color, modest head, and average body. SudsMcDuff (8468) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - SEP 6, 2013
Thanks Cliff . shared with my brew crew … deep amber gold . .. Rich grains and caramel … solid mouth feel … good solid brew .. . . Almost 11 o’clock? Good! I’m hungry hotstuff (5233) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - AUG 20, 2013
This bottled beer pours a small ivory head, transparent body, no visible carbonation, spotty amounts of lacing, and a golden hue. The Aroma is malt and caramel. The Taste is semi-sweet, malty and caramel. The Palate is smooth and this beer is medium bodied. Overall, this beer needs more flavor as it was boring to drink and rate. sfontain (851) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - AUG 9, 2013
12 oz bottle. Amber pour, foamy white head. Grain and toast, nutty, biscuit, herbal, light caramel. Medium-full, quite sticky. One of the less impressive offerings I’ve had from Thirsty Dog. rumproasts (5575) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - JUN 18, 2013
bottle. Amber with small head. Extremely overdone with the spicing. A little bit of sublety could have gone a long way here.
