12 oz bottle. Amber pour, foamy white head. Grain and toast, nutty, biscuit, herbal, light caramel. Medium-full, quite sticky. One of the less impressive offerings I’ve had from Thirsty Dog.

rumproasts (6052) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - JUN 18, 2013
bottle. Amber with small head. Extremely overdone with the spicing. A little bit of sublety could have gone a long way here.

Strong lager smell, excellent clear amber color, thin lace head. Strong taste for style, as proveb by ABV. good palate, but not a good flavor.

Hmm where did my rating go for this?? Maybe I never rated though I swore I did. pretty run of the mill marzen. But now I have it on record. Phew.

JStax (7314) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - JAN 19, 2013
Pours a translucent copper with a white dad of foam that fizzles out quickly. Aroma is grainy and has a sort of rye spiciness to it. That spicy note comes through in tshe taste and rides it out through to the finish. Interesting take on the style.

shonobiwan (219) - Sound Beach, New York, USA - JAN 9, 2013
Long Island, NY - 12 oz. bottle poured a dark amber color with no head or lacing. Aroma was generic lager like. Taste was rather malty with excessive sweetness. Not the greatest brew ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 ounce bottle. Thanks JSquire! Pours a clear copper with a small off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, and grain. Taste is similar with a bit of hops. OK.

12oz bottle to mini-dimple. Below average okto. Slightly sweet malt flavor.

Gription79 (2892) - Bountiful, Utah, USA - NOV 15, 2012
Poured from a 12 ounce bottle. Toasted malts, roasted malts, caramels, toffee, off earthy character. Not the best fest beer that I have had.

doboy (424) - Morehead City, North Carolina, USA - NOV 3, 2012
Pours a clear amber with nice carbonation and a ver light white lacy head. Aroma is hoppy. Taste is sweet malt with a hint of hops. Nice rich mouthfeel. Good aftertaste. Not a bad beer!
