COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is made with one grain and 4 Belgian yeasts, a deceptive golden color, and a malty palate lend complexity to this Belgian Trippel Ale. ABV = 10%, IBU’s = 31, OG = 23.1 P

The three headed Hellhound of Greek Mythology, that stood at the gates to Hades, lends his name and three heads to this elegant, full bodied Belgian Style Trippel Ale. A deceptive golden color and wonderful malty palate bring bold complexity to this big brew.

Bottle. Pours caramel brown with a thin head. Some Belgian yeast notes on the nose. Alcohol on the tongue. This one doesn’t hide it’s 10% very well. I’ve had better tripels.

Bottle courtesy of WhyBeNormal in a BIF a ways back. Served in a snifter. Pours a slightly-hazed golden-orange color with a thin white head and a bunch of spotty lacing. Thin collar throughout. The nose brings some light bread and sweetness plus some light clove and bubblegum. Light earthiness comes along with that in the flavor and the clove stands out along with a bit of bready sweetness. Medium body with average carbonation and a touch of sweetness in the finish. Not bad, though probably not something I’d seek out again. Serving type: bottle

Peach and banana nose with more of the former. Cloudy amber, floaties, thin head. Alcohol extremely evident. Peach and overripe lemon on the front, grass and lemon zest on the back, sweet then bitter. Full body. Fairly standard tripel, but too boozy.

Don’t get to drink Thirsty Dog beers on a regular basis so I was looking forward to trying Cerberus. Belgian Tripel strong fruit nose, banana bread yeastiness and an obvious high gravity sweet maltiness. This beer actually broke me out in a sweat. Crisp and spiced flavors gave Cerberus a nice twang, For me Cerberus just didn’t come together as a well defined Belgian Tripel.

bottle... murky gold, bright white head... really nice nose of honey with flowers, a little yeast, a sweeter tripel but solid... the taste is also very sweet, the yeast comes out a lot more than the nose but does hinder it, very drinkable but wish there was a bit more balance... solid especially with how well the alcohol is hidden

Enjoyed on tap at The Brew Kettle, the names is in fact Cerberus 10.Pleasant and no booziness detected. Golden with peachy tinge, and a lace sheer. Above average mouthfeel, ver smooth, sweet yeasty and slightly fruity, with a little tanginess.

Bottle shared by bhensonb. Pours golden with a modest beige head and a fruity aroma. There is a fruity spicy flavor with a lots of yeast presence, a little banana and a dry bitter finish. Sure tastes like a Belgian Tripel.

Apr 26, tap @ Thirsty Dog, Akron. Pours clear golden with a nice white head leaving some lace. Has a great sweet fruity aroma as also the flavor with grapes and raisins as well. Fullbodied, nice round sweet palate. Finishes with a pleasant sweet tart touch.
