Bottle. Nose immediately thrusts heavy pine and heavier rind, tropical with less citrus. Pour is a clear rich golden with a lacing, rocky bright white head. Taste medium bitter with light sweetness that dries out, lemon and lots of tropical (mango, passionfruit, heavy lychee) with more recent cherimoya overtones, bready toward the end after passing through lemony-chalky coating and above-average maltiness for style (sunny, just a touch of Pils- or similar graininess). Full body but not fat, great chalky-rindy coating even into the aftertaste, light zesty tartness without any hint acid or alcohol, clean and refreshing and structured. Might be my favorite of the Citra-bombs released in recent years. [2016.07.29: 4.1] Zymurgeist2 (2364) - Redwood City, California, USA - JUN 23, 2016
Draught at Jet Rock Bar and Grill in Terminal B of PHL. Peach and apricot aroma is nice. Appearance is a murky dishwater in a golden silver color....I have never seen a beer that look like this. Flavor is tropical fruit. Hard to get past the appearance. BeerdedDave (1875) - Beckley, USA - JUN 8, 2016
on tap at the Winking Lizard in Columbus, OH; deep amber color; citrusy hop aroma; citrusy, piney hop flavor with tropical fruit notes; medium bodied malt base with caramel malt notes jsporrer (1116) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 22, 2016
Pours a very effervescent pale yellow with a medium head of white foam. Crisp citrus aroma with some light malts. Taste is a mix of citrus with some strong malts and fairly bitter and somewhat harsh. Not nearly as refreshing as I had expected. Too dry and bitter for my liking. klaing (282) - Florida, USA - MAY 19, 2016
Clear light gold with thin head. A little sweetness followed by some citrus and tropical fruit aromas, then grassy soapy bitterness. Solid but not transcendent.

Pours a cloudy golden yellow. Aromas of citrus and a little of the tropics. Smooth easy drinking with flavors of citrus, grass, and yeast. AWISLguy (3327) - Wisconsin, USA - APR 4, 2016
12oz bottle from Bottle Shock in Port St Lucie. Yellowish pour. Tangy fruit. Grapefruit. Lemon. The flavor blend is not the best, and there is some lingering basement in the taste. 13.3 LinusStick (3509) - Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 29, 2016
A decent run of the mill IPA. Nothing groundbreaking here but it is a solid drinkable beer. Aroma was ok. A little weak but when my nose went into the glass there was caramel, grapefruit rind and earth. Pour was a hazy medium gold with a one finger white head. Taste was typical Midwestern IPA. Malt forward, with sweet malt providing the backbone and hot onion and earthy hops creating some bitterness. Nice carbonation. Could use a little more hop bitterness but that’s not really in style at the moment. ibrubeer (412) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - MAR 22, 2016
Nice aroma of citrus, and tangerine. Color is clear somewhat dark golden with a white head that dissipates quickly and leaves a little lacing. Flavor is a pleasant citrus hoppiness. A pretty good malt balance to the bitterness. Med (appropriate) body. Overall, a pretty nice citra IPA. I’d drink more! drfabulous (8575) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - MAR 22, 2016
12 ounce bottle. Nice pour. Citrus with bitterness and hops. Smooth. Nice IPA overall.
