COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
American IPA bursting with citrus aromas and flavors. You’ll find evidence of tangerine, grapefruit, orange and mango in the aroma from the multiple additions of a single hop variety, Citra. There is also a nice malt balance in this bitter, full bodied, doglicious IPA that is a citrus lovers delight.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks zvikar. Cloudy yellow-golden with an off-white head. Hoppy aroma, a bit stale, somewhat fruity. Crisp flavor of fruity hops with light stale notes, light bready maltiness and a pleasant bitter finish. Medium-bodied.

Draft. Poured a clear golden copper color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy earthy citrus hop aroma. Medium to full body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. I would recommend this to a freind.

Aroma of citrus, tropical, spicy hops, pale malts, something a little bit dirty, but not too distracting. The taste is bitter citrus hops, some tropical and green hop notes, pale malts. Medium bodied, high carbonation, lingering bitterness.

Sample from firkin at the Big Tap In on 04/21/2012. Pours a clear pale orange color with a wispy white head that evaporates steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Medium body with a citrusy character and notes of moderately bitter hops and caramel malt. The finish is fruity with a lingering citrus hops aftertaste. Pretty good Citra showcase beer all around.

Orange and mango. quite sweet, perhaps a touch muddled, but still pretty nice. I’d like to try fresh - or with a dated bottle :)
