12oz bottle - nose is malty. Sip adds more malts. Toasty beer for mowing the yard. Easy to drink. phaleslu (10267) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAY 7, 2014
12 oz. bottle from The Party Source. Pours a mostly clear gold with some carbonation bubbles throughout and a small white head that instantly fades into a small film and moderate ring. Notes of pale and bready malts, crackers, hay, and grass. Flavor is the same, but slightly sweeter. A lot of malts in this one. Light-bodied, with medium-plus carbonation and a malty mouthfeel. Nothing spectacular, but gets the job done. superspak (5597) - Michigan, USA - APR 10, 2014
12 ounce bottle into lager glass, no bottle dating. Pours lightly cloudy deep gold color with a 1 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a large amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of cracker, biscuit, honey, pear, apple, herbal, floral, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of bready malt, earthy hop, and yeast ester notes; with solid strength. Taste of cracker, biscuit, honey, herbal, floral, light pepper, light pear/apple, and yeast earthiness. No bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of cracker, biscuit, honey, herbal, floral, light pepper, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice balance and robustness of bready malt, earthy hop, and yeast ester flavors; with zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and lightly bready mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a good dortmunder style. Good balance and robustness of malt, hop, and yeast ester flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A pleasantly enjoyable offering. livingrural (7) - Ohio, USA - MAR 20, 2014 does not count
This is my first entry on Ratebeer, and, though I'm not a huge lager fan, I found this one pretty refreshing and balanced. chinchill (5023) - South Carolina, USA - JAN 31, 2014
12 oz bottle.
Pours with a large creamy head.
Set aside your preconceptions of lagers as fizzy yellow brews with little character. This is a creamy brew with a refined aroma and taste. Sure, it is neither rich nor bold, but very pleasing nonetheless. It is above average in all respects, but the perfectly carbonated, lively but soft mouthfeel may be its strongest point.

UPDATED: JAN 24, 2017 gold-light amber color; musty, earthy aroma; a well-balanced lager; light, bready, earthy malt and floral hops; crisp and clean geologyguy (1603) - Columbia, South Carolina, USA - JAN 3, 2014
Very malty smell, malty taste, no hops....nothing but malt flavor...slightly bitter over time Malty_MacHops (688) - Eastanollee, Georgia, USA - AUG 6, 2013
Clean hay and grass with a touch of light fruit. Golden with a fizzy white cap. Balanced toward the malt end with just enough hops to counter. Light bodied with a refreshing crispness. LetsGoState (886) - Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 5, 2013
Appearance is a light amber with medium white head. Aroma is sweet malt. Taste is all malt and pretty weak. Overall I wasn’t that impressed.
