4/13/2011: Thirsty Dog Labrador Lager... Aroma: Grassy, pale malts, almond, floral notes. Appearance: Bright coppery color; faint off-white crown. Flavor: Toffee malt, somewhat sweet; floral hops; really mild bitterness; slightly fruity; dries off in the finish. Palate: Medium-bodied; soft and smooth. Overall: Just okay.
Draught at Dutch’s in Cincinnati, Ohio. Rating #95 for this beer.
A decent lager although a little lighter on the hops than I would prefer. Overall a decent lager in German style.

Malty, thin, a bit earthy. Better than an American macro brew. Bready, then a lingering finish. jsquire (4425) - St. Marys, Ohio, USA - APR 17, 2013
Golden color with a small fluffy white head. Light sweet corny nose. Lots of canned corn sweetness along with some white sugar and honey. This is a cloying beer, with a hint of cracker malts and some doughy yeast. Really not my favorite. Patrickctenchi (6561) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - APR 5, 2013
Clear, deep gold with a foamy white head.
Aroma is mild flowers.....light bread.
Taste is bread heel, butter, light fruit...
Sweet, followed by a slightly toasted bitter.
A bit of salt water...
Fairly plain,but not bad.

Bottle. Pours medium straw golden, light whispy white head. Nose is cracker malts, honey, light metal and grass. Flavor is similar, toasted and crackery malts, light toffee sweetness, medium bittersweet finish. JStax (6365) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - DEC 23, 2012
Poured from a 12 ounce bottle from the source. Pours a translucent copper color with a thin white head of foam. The aroma is pilsener malt with some bread sneaking into the picture. The taste is sweet initialky and then finishers very bready. Love the finish and light mouthfeel. 17thfloor (2443) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 18, 2012
Pours a hazy gold with a white frothy head. Aroma of apples. Flavor follows, green apple, hay, sticky, not clean, do like the yeast note on the finish though, sweet. Again odd body, fluffy carb. crossovert (12668) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - SEP 28, 2012
Had it, tasted like a pale ale. Not the worst american lager and not the best. Not as 100% traditional as I wold have liked.
