Had it, tasted like a pale ale. Not the worst american lager and not the best. Not as 100% traditional as I wold have liked. maxwelldeux (4373) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - SEP 14, 2012
Bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a very small head. Slightly metallic smell. Moderately skunky taste. Not a huge fan of this one. Nephilium (1821) - Cleveland, Ohio, USA - SEP 1, 2012
Mild, slightly sweet bready aroma. Pours a clear light amber, with a small white head. Light malt flavor, with almost no hops noticeable. Light on the palate, and easy drinking on a humid summer day. This would be a nice beer to expose non-craft drinkers to. ContemplateBeer (2097) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - JUL 20, 2012
Aroma of low/moderate noble hops, somewhat sweet, bready malts. Color is copper with foamy head. Flavor is mostly bread up front, not cloyingly sweet, the finish is a little drier with some bitterness; maybe a little alcohol at the very end. Palate is soft, foamy and bubbly. A well crafted lager, and if the ratings below mine are an indicator, perhaps an improved beer. DrSilverworm (10000) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 14, 2012
12oz bottle. 6%, sort of on the high side for a lager, right? Clear light orange color, minimal head that fades to nothing, some bubbles on the side of the glass. Particles floating in the body. Moderate, pronounced but smooth carbonation, more dry finish. Boring lagery taste, a little skunky... Pretty disappointing, isn’t obviously high-quality like Great Lakes and Stoudts Dortmunders are. Light savory, sort of a salty bite, intrusive light bitterness. Not a good lager, not easy to drink

Light on the bitterness with sweet malts. Yellow bodied Helles could be relabeled a Michelob and I wouldn’t no the difference. Decent brew, just no pizazz. wxman (1871) - O’Fallon, Illinois, USA - JUN 30, 2012
Pours a slightly hazy deep golden with a marginal white head that diminishes, but continues to coat the surface. Almost no aroma, perhaps a little bread dough. Taste is sweet toasted malt along with notes of caramel. This is pretty decent, but is more on the order of a Marzen rather than a Dort. tacosauce7541 (4) - St. Johns, Michigan, USA - JUN 27, 2012 does not count
Smells great, with a wonderful apperarence. Has a fantastic hoppy flover. But not too overbearing. mwbrady12 (469) - Orlando, Florida, USA - JUN 13, 2012
Stronger than expected aroma with a golden brown appearance, balanced taste and comfortable mouthfeel. Easy drinking beer!

Bottle. Light bready malt aroma. Golden with a small off-white head. Flavor much like aroma, bready malt and light bitter finish. Medium body and carbonation. Easy drinking.
