Bottle. Lemon and corny barley malt aroma. Clear golden yellow color with moderate head. Mildly sweet barley malt and lightly bitter herbal hops flavor. Not bad - a decent Dortmunder.

12 ounce bottle. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a clear gold color with about a half inch off-white head that stayed around a little while. There’s a small amount of lacing. The brew smells like bready and sweet malt, and some light grassy hops. It tastes like bready and sweet malt. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it’s a bit creamy with a moderate amount of carbonation. It goes down easy enough. This certainly isn’t one of the better Dortmunder Lagers I’ve had. It’s not a bad beer by any means, but there’s nothing about this that would make me want to buy it again.

Not very bitter. Slightly sweet. Stupid dog on the front. Not the best.... Not standout but drinkable ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

FROTHINGSLOSH (8267) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 15, 2012
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark golden color with a medium sized foamy white head that faded and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was tangy sugar, faint caramel and vague golden fruits. The flavor was tangy sweet sugar, honey, bread and golden fruits. Medium finish and body though fairly smooth. Ok.

Pours a clear orange amber with a good 1/2" head and nice spider-web lace. The taste is honey wheat and malt that moves smoothly to a nice hop finish. Bittering units are probably low, but it’s enough for this brew. I don’t understand the low ratings - this is certainly more palatable than many similar brews.

polomagnifico (1202) - Saginaw, Michigan, USA - MAR 4, 2012
Bottle. Aroma has notes of sweet cereal and caramel malts with a light citrus note. Medium amber hue with a small off-white head that mostly diminished and left little lace. Flavor is medium sweet and lightly bitter. Palate is medium bodied and oily average. Overall a nice drinkable beer that neither offends or stands out.

Bottle. Pours transparent amber body with a foamy off white head. Smells of bread, hint of caramel, citrus and earthiness. Tastes of earth, floral, hint of citrus and caramel. Pretty average overall and is this really a dortmunder style beer?
