12 ounce bottle from Vintage Cellar in Blacksburg, VA. Pours a hazy orange color with fine suspended particles. Fair head retention and lacing. Aroma of caramel, butterscotch, butter, toasted malts. Taste is butterscotch, green apple and other fruit notes, caramel and an odd tart note. Medium bodied. Really and odd beer. A shame, I was looking forward to this one. Sample at the Ohio University Inn & Conference Center during the Thirsty Dog /Cheese/Chocolate Tasting as part of Ohio Brew Week. Surprised I hadn’t actually had this before. The beer is a clear golden color with a thin white head that bubbles away to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of grainy malt and hops. Light body with flavors of grassy hops, sweet bready malt and a touch of fruit. The finish is crisp and mildly hoppy, and has a fruity aftertaste. Pretty average overall, but did go well with the cheese.

Had it, tasted like a pale ale. Not the worst american lager and not the best. Not as 100% traditional as I wold have liked. Sammy (12195) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 21, 2010

12 oz. bottle from The Party Source. Pours a mostly clear gold with some carbonation bubbles throughout and a small white head that instantly fades into a small film and moderate ring. Notes of pale and bready malts, crackers, hay, and grass. Flavor is the same, but slightly sweeter. A lot of malts in this one. Light-bodied, with medium-plus carbonation and a malty mouthfeel. Nothing spectacular, but gets the job done.
