Deep golden. Persistent creamy white foam. Severely defective aroma of apple butter, DMS, celery, ammonia, popcorn, make-up powder, vanilla taffy, decaying grass. Sharp carbonation. Initially muddled with wax and unapologetic DMS notes swirled with the limpness of apple juice. No malt presence to aid in body support, and what’s there is closer to old damp hay and popcorn than anything resembling pils malt. Nauseatingly chemical-like, with notes of green peas adding to the DMS onslaught. Finishes wet with notes of paint and rotting fruit. Not sure what to say, other than just about every defect under the sun is present here. Down the drain she goes. georgia (9) - Troy, Ohio, USA - MAY 27, 2017 does not count

12 ounce bottle - $2.49 at Total Wine & More in Greenville, South Carolina.
Appearance: Dispensed a gold body displaying good clarity with about an inch of white suds.
Smell: A light touch of softly bready, cereal sweet maltiness. Even lighter in the hop department, just a faint bit of lemon and dried herb. Subdued yeasty vibe throughout.
Taste: Sweetish tasting cereal malts. Very modest hops expressing a little lemon and light florals. Near nil bitterness. A bit of sweetness remains on the somewhat languid finish.
Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Medium-low carbonation.
Overall: Uninspired. Not so great in the flavor department, could use more crispness and it’s overpriced to boot. ryanscourt (1567) - Latrobe, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 3, 2016
Hay appearance. Grainy pils hop flavor, mild hop balance. Grainy feel with light bitteness.

Draught @ Albion. Clear rich yellow with small off-white foamy head, faint malt aroma, medium carbonation, sweetish bread taste, abrupt finish. Decent, not special. ryecatcher (1471) - Bridgeport, Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 3, 2015
Bottle from a mix-a-six at Giant Eagle I procured while home in Cleveland last week. This is a pretty good rendition of the style, although I’m admittedly not a huge fan of lagers aside from the cheap pissy sort that I’m nostalgic for.
