Bottle at Winking Lizard Crosswoods. Clear gold pour with a medium white head. Aroma of raspberry and creamy malt. Raspberry flavor along with a creaminess that makes me think it’s either made with wheat or corn. Fruity finish. Not terribly complex, but is it trying to be? It’s refreshing, to say the least. mandalarules (104) - Akron, Ohio, USA - NOV 26, 2011
Bottle. Pours gold with medium to large white head. Smells of well....raspberries and malt flavor with earthy undertones. Tastes of the same. Refreshing and pretty balanced for a fruit beer. Probably why this gets a bad rap....because it’s a fruit beer, but I enjoyed this one and will look for it on a hot summer day once again. Cletus (6355) - Connecticut, USA - NOV 21, 2011
Pours gold with a fizzy white head. Smells soapy with some sweet sugary raspberry undertones. Tastes of raspberry syrup, some caramel, metallic on the finish. esjaygee (3904) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 17, 2011
Unleash the flavor says the label to me with a pink spotted dog employed by thirsty. I remove the cap and all I can see is a methodical head growing in front of me. Hand me a glass and I’ll fill it with head – this one must be old as the yeast is all dead. Two glasses later the head still is flowing, I’ve got to be rating soon, this much I’m knowing. Thick splotchy lacing in a muddy amber soup, there’s some raspberry, malt and grains in this soup. It’s dry and malty and raspberry and gritty - and even my fruit beer lovin’ wife thinks it’s shitty. gorlandi (68) - Kent, Ohio, USA - NOV 8, 2011
Smells like a wine cooler, very soft on the palate with a very light body. The flavor is pretty much just of raspberry flavor, it is not an overwhelming flavor but it could use a little more. I found it to be a rather bland beer but if you like fruit beer it is decent.

12oz bottle from mix pack. pours a hazy gold with a small, frothy white head. raspberry aroma with a strong berry scent. flavor is relatively un-sweet with a nice amount of berry notes. slightly bitter and even salty sometimes. lighter hints of cereal occasionally. light body and clean. i like a little more body and malt sweetness in fruit beers but this is pretty good for a low abv drink. cubs (10636) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - SEP 7, 2011
Bottle @ home, Cloudy yellow-brown appearance with a light orangish cream colored head. Potent ripe, tart, fruity raspberry, carbonated aroma. The raspberry flavor is milder than you would be led to believe with the rich, fruity nose. Mild raspberry, lightly tart flavor. Pretty easy drinking but I’m a little disappointed after eager anticipation following the aroma. thome50 (1295) - Morro Bay via Orange County, California, USA - AUG 7, 2011
Bottle via trade with Mike, thanks again for the extra. Aroma is overpowering raspberry to the point of being fake. Not that chemical aroma but just very overpowering where you would never know you were drinking a beer. Pours a golden yellow with HUGE head. This thing took 2 minutes to pour two, 6oz pours. The taste is raspberries up front but then goes to some acid and some mild, mild malt finish. The mouth feel is water and bubbles. Very much lacking in several categories, overall it isn’t something I would turn away with a second tasting but really didn’t bring much to the table other than the aroma. Bottle. Poured a clear light amber with a small white fizzy head that dissipated rapidly and had very little lacing. The aroma was to say the least POWERFUL with a raspberry scent which covered up just about everything else except for a faint hint of a sweet yeast. It tasted lightly sweet with a very light hint of raspberry from the onset to the finish, with it being a little acidic and having a hint of yeast at the end. The flavor faded quickly leaving almost nothing left on the tastebuds. Mouthfeel was light in body and watery in texture with a very lively carbonation. Overall a very light tasting brew with a lot less flavor than the aroma would have you believe. tkrjukoff (4335) - SWEDEN - MAY 4, 2011
Apr 26, tap @ Thirsty Dog, Akron. Rasbrries, rasberries, rasberries. Pours clear golden, no sign of rasberriy colour, but what an aroma. You feel it from miles away. Flavor is ... rasberries of course with nice malty and hoppy touch. Palate and finish is rasberry as well with nice bitter hoppy touch. Excllent summer beer.
