Draft. Poured hazy copper color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Moderate citrus hefe aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and lively carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Very drinkable beer.

12 ounce bottle from Belmont Party Supply. Pours an amber color with a very slight haze. Very slight. Thin head fades instantly. Aroma of caramel and faint fruits. The taste is wheat, caramel and a faint hop finish. Some apple-like fruits. Medium bodied. Pretty boring. Dogbrick (13144) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUN 4, 2010
On draught at Winking Lizard. Pours a hazy golden color with a medium off-white head that has a lot of large bubbles and recedes quickly to an outer ring. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Tart fruit and grassy hops in the nose. Medium body with flavors of sour fruit, wheat and malt. The finish is fruity with a banana and wheat aftertaste. Average overall. Orange coloured body, some white head. pleasant enough wheat aromas. Taste a bit orangey, cloves, bannana bread, and above average mouthfeel, although some carbonation offset. Decent drinkability, though not terribly. It’s the style but not the best representative. shrubber85 (11448) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - JUL 8, 2011

12 oz. bottle at home. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma and flavor have pale wheat malts, banana, light spice, hints of vanilla, mild citrus, pretty boring hefe that I won’t be revisiting. phaleslu (10325) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 20, 2015
12 oz. bottle from ryanmcfly1985- thanks again, Ryan! Pours a clear gold with a white ring for a head. Notes of corn, cereal, straw, wheat, sugar, apple, and a metallic thing throughout. Light-bodied, with low carbonation and a sweet, watery mouthfeel. I’d consider this a weakish wheat ale, as it doesn’t drink much like a hefe at all. 12oz bottle. Very cloudy dark yellow color, visible sediment, minimal head. Dots of lacing. Sharp carbonation. Light body. Nice, thin texture. Great lightly sweet aftertaste, perfect amount of spice. Vanilla notes. Really good, refreshing. PorterPounder (8070) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - JUN 7, 2015
Tallahassee, Fl - ABC Fine Wine & Spirits - 12 oz bottle. Slight haze to the medium golden pout, light off-white head, no lace. Aroma has some clove and banana which melds together in an unpleasant butterscotch essence. Flavor is similar in nature, cloyingly sweet, all that really comes through is the butterscotch. Mouthfeel is thick enough. Not feeling on this one - Thirsty Dog is usually pretty solid. JaBier (8027) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - JUN 6, 2010
On tap at Winking Lizard Crosswoods. Hazy orange pour with a huge white head. Aroma of bananas, wheat malt and hotdogs. Muted banana flavor with creamy wheat malt and a touch of citrus.
