Growler thanks to mora2000. Deep copper brew with some off-white head. Aromas of resiny, dank hops and orange. Bready malt with citrus and pine - very bitter aftertaste.

Poured a clear orange amber with a small lasting creamy amber head. Aromas of biscuit, candied orange, grapefruit and a hint of yeast. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of bread, grapefruit and a hint of orange with a crisp dry lingering bitter finish.

Tap at Uncle Billys in Austin. Pours a deep amber colirbwith thin lacy head. Aroma is roasted malts, with pine and earthy grass. Not a strong aroma. Taste is nice caramel and toasted malts with a solid bitterness, pine and grass with a bit of alcohol burn. Palate is medium body, light carbonation. Meh.

On tap at brewery, poured a hazy orange hue w/ sticky white head. Moderate sweet hop aromas. Initial flavor is moderate sweet w/ a moderate bitter finish. Tastes are clover, honey, tangerine, and grass. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draught. Oh no. When "pale" part of the beer style and the pint come out deep amber, things are about to head south. I could see this working if the style was "caramel malt IPA", but alas, it is not. Nose is caramel, toffee, toast, light citrus. Flavor is overly burnt caramel, pine, brown sugar, tons of residual sugars and lots of fusels. Way too sweet, way too boozy. This makes me a sad panda. I think this beer gave me a cavity.

2/24/12. On tap during RBWG 2012. Light orange pour with a small khaki head. Fresh, tropical aroma of hops, including peach and mango. Nice fresh hop flavor as well with more fruits but a bigger hoppy, bitter kick as well. Not too shabby.

(Growler thanks to Mora2000) clearish orange with a thick tan creamy head. Nose is dank, sweet citrus pulp, bready, caramel. Taste is medium bitter, sweet bread, slight bitter orange oils, hairspray, not liking the bitter linger either.

Cavie (4725) - Arlington, Texas, USA - AUG 7, 2011
Tap at the Dancing Bear. Pours a murky maroon, reddish brown. White foamy head. Aroma is fantastic, drippy wet hops, sap, pine needles, and grapefruit. Flavor is sweet, super hops, pine, spicy hops and cereal. This is well done. Pretty dry finish however.

Tap at draught house. Deep amber with a cream head. Nose is spices, hops, citrus, and light resin. Thick palate, resiny hops, citrus, and light spice.
