Cimbasso (1026) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 1, 2017
Sampled on draught with Jan Magnus at Jernbanecafeen in Copenhagen. A chestnut brown colour with a white head. Rather pale and watery. Quite sweet and malty but no hop taste at all. The style is more like an Vienna lager than a Dunkel, but with no bittering hops. Pretty disappointing in flavour, but reasonably pleasant with no off-flavours.

Bottle. Clear amber, stable white fluffy head. Malty aroma, some caramel perhaps. Malty flavour with some weird hop-like bitterness, hints of butter.

Mad_Ferret (1027) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUL 1, 2015
Bottle. Birthday gift from VsXsV among others during CBC15. Thanks a lot!

Filtered clear copper colour with a pretty short off white head.

Some raw sugar, grains and hay, apples wet wood, some cardboard and DMS.

Caramel/raw sugar, rye bread, anis, apples and oranges, wet wood and weeds, cardboard dryness with some acidity in the finish. Otherwise fairly low bitterness.

Medium to light bodied, soft carbonation, light texture.

So if I get this right they have taken a stronger darker beer and "watered" it down 4,6% with a weak pale lager? The result feels a bit messy. Buuut then again it could have been better if I had drunk it straight away when I got it in may. A bit dusty now.

Skinnyviking (9731) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUN 29, 2015
Bottle at Jernbanecafeen. High fluffy lasting white head. Clear dark brown body. Powerful malt straw caramel flavor. Relatively hoppy flavor on a solid roasted malt caramel base. Low carbonation, long finish.

NordicV (2515) - Malmö, Sweden, SWEDEN - JUN 10, 2015
Fat @ Jernbanecafeen. Bärnstensfärgad öl med vitt skum. Doft av säd, maltsötma och rostat ljust bröd. Detsamma i smaken. I stil med "classic"-öl från andra danska bryggerier.
