COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Danish: Brügge er en mild og aromatisk gylden ale med krydret præg fra den belgiske trappistgær. Nyd den i et smukt glas med fod og med plads til den kraftige hvide skumkrone. Ufiltreret.

With Westmalle in the back of my head I tried this one from Thisted, and it lived up to my expectations. Nice color and head with a peppery bitternes that lasts for a while together with a somewhat sweet aftertaste. I like this.

Bottle, 7.5%. A Danish beer, named after a Belgian city, spelt in German. Citric aroma with a mild floral hop note. Hazy golden colour, sparkling. Big stable creamy white head. The flavour is nicely yeasty, quite clean. Tastes like a tripel, but perhaps less fruity than the best ones.

Bottle. 7.5%. Best before 21.12.18. Pours a slightly hazy straw yellow/pale orange, with a diminishing off-white/yellowish head. Decent lacing. Sweetish, floral, hoppy aroma. Light citrus, spicy and orange peel hints, and a bit fat as it warms. A bit dry/dusty, as well as a light acidic note. Flavour is floral and citrusy hops. Grainy overtone. Fruity as it warms, hint of yeast. Bitter hop finish, hint of liquorice. Grainy, increasing as it warms. Metallic note as it warms as well, lingering along with some grass, hay notes. Overall okay, but could do without the grainy notes. 06.04.17.

CloakedDagger (2370) - - MAR 23, 2017
Bottle 50 cl. Pours golden with a slight haze and a white head. Unclean yeasty, estery nose. Medium body, very unpleasantly estery, appears moldy and skunky with a rather bitter finish. Amazing how Thisted manages to screw up yet another beer style. 230317
