COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Danish: Brügge er en mild og aromatisk gylden ale med krydret præg fra den belgiske trappistgær. Nyd den i et smukt glas med fod og med plads til den kraftige hvide skumkrone. Ufiltreret.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours golden with a slight haze and a white head. Unclean yeasty, estery nose. Medium body, very unpleasantly estery, appears moldy and skunky with a rather bitter finish. Amazing how Thisted manages to screw up yet another beer style. 230317

Bottle. Pours hazy light amber with stable white head. Clear aroma of hops, with notes of fruit and yeast and touches of malt. Sweetish flavour of malt and fruit, with notes of caramel and yeast and bitter touches of hops. Bitter and esterybaftertaste with acidic hints. Creamy mouthfeel. Not bad.

Copenhagen 1/3 2017. 50 cl bottle from Fakta. Yellow Belgian Cornfield and what looks like a thirsty peasant on the label. Second installment of Thisteds Belgian series that I’ve tasted. Pours hazy golden yellow with big white head. Settles as thin layer of foam. Moderate lacing. Aroma is not very intense. A discrete odor of stale basement, light caramel sweetness and not much else. Medium carbonation and slightly thick palate. Flavor is well balanced between medium sweetness and light to medium bitterness. Aftertaste is spicy and medium bitter. Nice strong beer with a small Belgian twist.

Bottle. Pours hazy golden with offwhite head. Aroma has light malt, orange, citrus, coriander and herbs. Taste is light malty, somewhat sweet and fruity with orange, herbs, coriander and has a dry, fresh and fruity finish. Not the best balance as it lacks sweetness for the style.
