COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
DANISH: Til de fyldige oste og søde desserter anbefaler vi denne kraftige bock, som sagtens kan hamle op med de søde dessertvine. Ingredieser: Vand, bygmalt, sukker og humle. Tilsat antioxidant ascorbinsyre.

Bottle shared at Chris & Ruth’s pre GBBF Shindig 06/08/2017. A reddy amber coloured pour with a halo of light tan head. Aroma is sweet brown bread, toasted earth, hazelnut. Flavour is composed of nutty earthy toffee, smoke, brown bread, burnt toast. Palate is semi sweet, moderate carbonation, drying finish.

Bottle, 7.2%. Caramelly aroma. Clear dark brown colour. Small stable tan head. The flavour starts off roasted and does not really turn malty or sweet as I expected. Dry and roasted. Not a Doppelbock in my book.

Bamsen78 (5454) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - APR 13, 2017
Bottle. Pours nearly clear copper brown with airy off-white head. Faint aroma of caramel, with notes of malt and touvhes of hops. Bitter, hoppy flavour with dusty and grainy, offlike notes. Touches of caramel. Estery and bitter aftertaste. Infected and definitely jot a Doppelbock. Poor.

Bottle. Pours clear dark cola with small white head. Aroma is malt, licorice mints, black filter coffee and chalk. Taste is medium sweet, light bitter and light acidic. Body is oily with light carbonation. Finish is long and mostly sweet with notes that follow the nose plus notes of bread.

Bottle. 7.2%. Best before 10.12.17. Pours a clear, deep golden/amber, with a light tan head. Good lacing. Sweetish aroma, spicy/herbal/floral and a bit fruity. Light bread note as it warms. Flavour is spicy/herbal/floral as well, with light malt/caramel and a citrus note thrown in for good measure. Slightly tart finish, dryish, with citrus and herbal notes, and a light metallic overtone. Lingering grassy/sweet apple note. Overall so-so; okay, but the spicy/herbal/floral and citrus notes makes it a bit unbalanced and cloying, also not really that bock-like. 09.11.16.
