HuldgaardRJ (179) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - NOV 9, 2015
(4) Below average. I had this as the alias no 5. I understand why they’ve changed labels - although the high peeps at Thisted, should be able to make the labels even better.

Bought as Thisted no 5 Stone beer. Pours clear dark copper with medium off white head. Aroma is complex with notes of caramel, cereals, nuts and burnt sugar. Taste is subtly bitter with a sweet touch, medium body and a bitter sweet finish.

The aroma is caramel. The taste is slightly caramelized.. It has the Bocks brittle nature of malt fullness and hop bitterness. Towards the end occurs an unmistakable tart tang seems like infection. Possibly. an impure bottle which enabled infection. It tastes not good.
