330 ml bottle. Almost clear, golden body with a nice white head. Not very strong aroma of malt and fruit. Flavor is refreshing, weak malty, some fruit and not particular bitter. Thin and watery body. Can not recognize any bogmyrtle.

Aarhus, DK Bottled I love bog myrthle. The ale yeast gives it a range of fruit flavors that almost hides it

Bottle. Clear, golden beer with a white head. Malty nose with caramel, quite sweetish. A bit grainy flavor, but also fairly well balanced with malt, caramel and some bitterness. Medium body, with some bitterness in the finish. A quite nice one. (070809)

I liked this one when I in May 05 tasted it on draught. But on bottle the aroma hops has become way to dominating and the hops and yeast are the main components. The myrtle is completely gone.

kramer (6991) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 26, 2007
12 oz bottle, via Storm. Pours a lightly cloudy marigold yellow under a small fizzy white head that retained as a sickly film. Aroma is certainly vegetal with some corn notes, but maybe that’s just the bog myrtle talkin’. A little bit of yeast as well. Flavor is very similar to the aroma. Lots of vegetal flavors, and to a lesser extent a little fruitiness and light yeast. Pretty thin. Mouthfeel is light bodied with fizzy prickly carbonation and a watery texture. Overall, not sure what to think about this one. Bog Myrtle is a new ingredient to me so I guess I I really can’t tell too well whether this was a successful effort or not, but it’s not something I’d chase after again.

Storm (2684) - Amager, DENMARK - DEC 29, 2005
