Koelschtrinker (21118) - K?ln (Cologne), GERMANY - JUL 27, 2011
Dunkelmalziger Geruch, etwas hopfig, minimal bitter. Test vom 23.2.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 11,11,9,10,6,10 - 9,90

Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 26, 2008
Thanks to Rene for the bottle, BB 1/18/08! Poured a healthy shade of deeper brown with a lovely initial cap of creamy beige head. The aroma picked up darker chocolates, anise, and molasses with lesser notes of brown sugar and what the previous two guys found.. salt.. nice overall presentation that masked the booze very well. The flavor had caramel and molasses maltage supporting earthy bitterness and charred black patent-type malts.. again a little salty, but that wasn’t by any means a bad thing. Heavier-bodied, dry, and roasty on the palate, picking up a little coffee bitterness on the long-lasting finish.. masked its alcohol all the way. Nice one!
