Black with a light brown head. Aroma is hard roasted malt and coffee. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and bitter finish. Soft mouthfeel. I didn’t check the BB on the bottle but I guess it must have been way past. It was very good anyway. 151210

7 Mar 2009. This was a very good beer, a bit burnt. Finally the last beer brought home from Denmark in June 2008. Should have had more... oh6gdx (26487) - Vasa, FINLAND - JAN 10, 2009
Bottled (thanks Papsoe). Pretty much extremely dark brown colour, opaque. small brown head. Aroma is toffee, roasted malts, some slight leather and earth too. Flavour is roasted malts, licorice, some hops as well as dark dry fruits.. Wellbalanced. TBone (17680) - Pori, FINLAND - JAN 10, 2009
Bottled (BB 10/2008).
Opaque black color, small tan head. Nose has coffee and sweet stout -like milky lactose. Coffee, chocolate and lactose in the flavor. Finish has some licorice and ash. This is more a sweet stout than a normal porter. I am not a big fan of these. yngwie (17078) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - DEC 31, 2008
Bottle, from trade with Maria. A really dark brown beer, topped by a small, tan head. Licorice, burnt and roasted malts and some coffee in the aroma. Salty licorice and coffee does most of the flavor job, it is full-bodied and quite dry, but some malty sweetness shines through. A lovely beer that I would like some fruityness or hoppy bitterness in, but there’s diversity in the dark flavors, so it really doesn’t matter much.
