rane (1102) - Nibe, DENMARK - NOV 11, 2017
Bottle. Dark brown with pale brown head. Aroma sweet malts some flower notes. Taste quite sweet more like a belgian strong ale. Lack some of the dry notes I think there should be in a saison.

Flaska.

Zumindest nett vollmundig.

bartlebier (4161) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - AUG 25, 2017
50cl bedstfør bb03/2019 fra Fakta Vejle, postprandium patio potion. - Kort: fine spicy & spiced Märzen or Amber Ale of sorts that by any other name would be just as OK. Dark, lager-ish nutbroen pour. Aroma of coarse walnuts, stewed orchard fruit (pear, apple and skins, fruit sulphurs) and wet peppercorns. Tastes malt-forward for a supposed saison, with a fair bit of gravity and sourish edge to the bready Munich? malts. A german touch to an amber ale, spiced with extra pepper. - Decent, well drinkable despite the heavier malts. But then again, there are Belgian amber saisons like Voisin as well... the astringent hop and malt bitter finish is distinctly coarse and out of style and character though. - I guess what bothers me most about this beer is that it is called "Gent" in "homage to the Wallonian farmhouse ales". Hm, indeed.

AVLarsen (206) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 25, 2017
Bottle. Typical Belgian Saison. Very rich and powerful. Not my favorite kind of beer but it is well made.

Vignale (4054) - Malmö, SWEDEN - JUL 10, 2017
Flaska från livsmedelsbutik i N Vorupör. Torr, krispig, lite jordig, örtig, lätt kryddad, inte särskilt tydlig karaktär från jästen men trevlig.

Bottle 500ml @ Sommerhuset

Pours hazy brown with a beige head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, yeast and fruity finish. Body is medium sweet and light bitter with a long yeasty, caramel and fruity finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
