779/5000 Beautiful off-white foam. Aroma is yeast, wheat flour, caramel and a little anise. The taste is rich and sweet of caramel, fresh grains, cane sugar and a discreet taste of nuts and citrus fruit. It has medium carbonation and a good filling and a little spicy aftertaste of black pepper. Much more flavorful than an ordinary Saison, although initially it is a little sour compared to the type. In the aftertaste there are coriander and juniper berries, but as a sophisticated Saison, it fails unfortunately. However, it has a typical Belgian flair, but lacks the yeast flavor and a little of the wheat flours freshness. Colorfully it is more than an Amber Ale, so why not just call it an Amber?
