EvNa (375) - NETHERLANDS - JUL 27, 2017
Bottle. Color: Dark ruby, very light brown head. Taste: Pretty dark roasted malt, notes of chocolate and coffee, hints of red fruit. On the sweet side for a stout. Also some bittery and herby notes. Medium body, below medium carbonation. Could have some more complexity and taste.

Bottle shared at the Chris & Ruth pre GBBF shindig tasting 2016 - London. Cheers! Pours rich brown with a creamy, tan head. The nose holds mellow roast, light burnt earth. Light sweet flavour with notes of charcoal, more earth, general roastiness. Light bodied with average carbonation. Dry and roasty in the finish, with accents of bitter baking cocoa. Good one.

The_Osprey (8222) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 14, 2016
August 2016 - Bottle share at Chriso’s Sunday Shindig. Thanks! As ’Thisted Irish Stout’. Black with a red hue, opaque, foamy tan head. Aroma is treacle, ashy. Body is light, tingly carbonation, a little foamy. Taste is ashy, molasses, quite watery, doesn’t quite have the bitterness I’d expect in the style (assuming that by ’Irish stout’ they mean ’dry stout’ – I can’t imagine what else they’d mean). A bit washed out. (2.9)

Koelschtrinker (20596) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - SEP 9, 2016
Dunkler, trocken malziger Antrunk mit wässrigem Hintergrund. Leicht herb, daneben holzig, zunehmend röstig. Insgesamt wird das Bier zum Ende intensiver. Okay. 10/9/10/9/9/9

omhper (25262) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - AUG 27, 2016
Bottled, thanks fonefan! Near black, rich head. Aroma of tobacco and licorice. Dryish with medium body and soft mouthfeel. Unusually rich and well developed for such a low gravity stout: leather and tobacco as well as licorice. Mid bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

3.3
