Bottle. Clear dark amber body with a small beige head. Aroma has dark malt, mocha and mild coffee. Flavor is medium sweet dark malt, quite mild and smooth, toffee caramel and low bitterness. Medium body and average aftertaste. Nothing extraordinary going on, but it’s a well made and surprisingly smooth stout. Holmen1 (6582) - Stavanger, NORWAY - SEP 23, 2017

Bottle. Color: Dark ruby, very light brown head. Taste: Pretty dark roasted malt, notes of chocolate and coffee, hints of red fruit. On the sweet side for a stout. Also some bittery and herby notes. Medium body, below medium carbonation. Could have some more complexity and taste. Myonlyvice (352) - DENMARK - APR 5, 2017

Light sweet flavour with notes of charcoal, more earth, general roastiness. Light bodied with average carbonation. Dry and roasty in the finish, with accents of bitter baking cocoa. Good one. August 2016 - Bottle share at Chriso’s Sunday Shindig. Thanks! As ’Thisted Irish Stout’. Black with a red hue, opaque, foamy tan head. Aroma is treacle, ashy. Body is light, tingly carbonation, a little foamy. Taste is ashy, molasses, quite watery, doesn’t quite have the bitterness I’d expect in the style (assuming that by ’Irish stout’ they mean ’dry stout’ – I can’t imagine what else they’d mean). A bit washed out. (2.9)
