Copenhagen 29/2 2015. 50 cl bottle from Rema 1000. Blue label with something resembling the creation of Christmas on a molecular level in the background. Christmas Big Bang I suppose. Pours light brown with yellowish head. Settles as thin layer of foam. Aroma of sweet caramel with sharp sourish notes and a whiff of alcohol. Medium carbonation and watery palate. Flavour has a little caramel sweetness, more pronounced bitterness with sour notes. Aftertaste is a little spicy with mostly black pepper. Nice enough brown ale with a little character.
