Reddish brown, beige head. Nice sweet aroma with notes of caramel. Flavour is quite sweet too but also very spicy. The first impression was quite disappointing but the beer improved quite a lot. Don’t do drink it too cold. The finish is surprisingly dry and bitter with some citric notes (not like American hops though). Interesting stuff but I definately think the Limfjordporter is better even though the label claims that "Klemme" thinks this is his best beer yet.

Copenhagen 29/11 2015. 50 cl bottle from Rema 1000. For once a Christmas Beer which label is not overloaded with fir willows, santas and reindeers. Just boring and blue. Pours clear reddish brown with creamy white head. Settles as 0,5 cm layer of foam. Aroma og dark roasted malts, lightly fermented fruit and a whiff of booziness. Medium carbonation and oily palate. Taste is spicy and well balanced between sweet caramel and fruity bitterness. Nice Christmas beer where you don't have to fight your way through a ton of dry fruit and cinnamon.

(4) Fine beer. There is still work ahead in order to get a better rating. Fine balance - needs more on the intense scale.

Nose is moderate to heavy, Christmas spice, moderate toasted malt, caramel, rasin, light yeast and dust. Taste is heavy sweet and light bitter with a warming, Christmas, lasting finish. Beautiful, almost creamy foam and a rich aroma of malty caramel. It is a distinctly bock, with its crisp fullness of little caramel, fruit, roasted malt tones and good hoppy bitterness in the end, certainly meets all bock beer lover’s expectations. This time is also seasoned in a way that suits Christmas. Light notes of clove and a little citrus is to find together with the hoppy aftertaste. I highly recommend this stone beers I so far have tasted from Thisted. They are all of high quality.
