bottle from føtex carlsberg.foamy bottle, it spilled over when i opened it.
clear yellow, almost no head.
citrussy flowery and sweet herbal aroma, faint malts, more herbal than hoppy.
flavor is oranges, sweet malts, stinging nettle, so very faint flowery-fruity note with some sweet herbs on top of that. imho quite unbalanced with all the sweetness and nothing to balance it.
one of the least tasty beers i remember having from Thisted, but it’s okay, they are clearly experimenting with this one, just don’t expect anything that is a pleasure to drink. mikeyo1 (855) - Linköping, SWEDEN - AUG 18, 2017
Bottle @ home. Pours a clear golden liquid with a large, white head. Aroma is dry and herbal with Buckthorn, berries, cinnamon, bog-myrtle, apples, flowers and with a clean malty pilsner like background. Taste is dry and quite crisp with spicy herbs,bog-myrtle, berries, malts, buckthorn, white bread, flowers, red apples. I like the overall clean refreshing pils backbone along with the herbs. Bottle. Nice foam and colour. Taste has notes of porse, hyben and havtorn. Typical of the north jutland. Not the best beer but interesting and different. faroeviking (11091) - Chupando chellas es como ellas, FAROE ISLANDS - APR 2, 2017
Botella. deep golden colour. Goshy! Big white bubbly head, rather short lasting. Sweet pleasant fruity malty herbal bucktorn aroma. Flavour is sweet and fruity malty with bucktorn and some light (pleasant) sourness. Good brew indeed.

Ok, where to begin? Bottle, 50cl. Colorful and different label. Spices, herb, vegatable category. Branded as something special new nordic. Aroma and flavour is quite straightforward. Some bitter sharp buckthorn, bog myrtle along sweetish berriers, apples and malt. Light sourness and short, bitter finish from the buckthorn. Oily, medium carbonated. Needs hobs for my taste. Kinda like the branding and idea - the execution of it, not so much. DraftDodger (1656) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - FEB 27, 2017
Copenhagen 27/2 2017. 50 cl bottle from Føtex. Very colorful collection of inedible stuff found in Thy National Park which has found it’s way into this New Nordic mixture without any hops. I do feel nervous when I see that the beer I am about to drink has been categorized as a "Vegetable" on this beer site. Pours clear amber with quite a big white head. Settles as 0,5 cm thick layer of foam. Aroma is very herbal with buckthorn and quite distinct bog myrtle. The buckthorn actually gives it some sharp bitterness. Light carbonation and watery palate. Flavor is medium sweet followed by light acidic sourness. Not very intense - and without much aftertaste. I like the idea of trying to compose a beer of what is available in a given biotope - but I am a little disappointed as this is quite thin. Meilby (11639) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - FEB 25, 2017

A danish, amber, "New Nordic" beer with white head and with buckthorn, rosehip, bog myrtle and without hops. Aroma is malt, spices, berries, a dry undefinable after-aroma, fresh. Taste is sweet.
