500ml bottle. Dark brown with medium frothy tan head. Aroma; Licorice, roasted malts, rotten plums, coffee and wet old wood. Taste: Lots of licorice, salmiak licorice, english licorice. Long and smooth aftertaste with some medium bitterness. This is differently a licorice beer. with that in mind i think its doing well for me.

Bottle 0,5. Pours black with medium off-white head, nice lacing. Roasted malts, some smoke, some sweetness, heavy on the licorice, a bit to much for my taste. Medium body and soft carbonation.

Black colour with brown foam. The aroma is not very big but the taste is a lot of licorice. Way to much for me.

Bottle courtesy of Martins00r. Many thanks. Poured a clear dark brown with a frothy light tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, creamy caramel, big liqourice. The flavour is moderate sweet, liqourice bitter with smooth, rich, roasty, sweet liqourice palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Its all about the liqourice all the way through.

Very dark brown with a red hue. Light brown creamy head with lots of lacing. Aroma is dominated by liqourice. Taste follows with sweetness and a roasted bitterness in the aftertaste. The original Limfjordsporter was better.

Bottle @ Wordenskjolds. Appearance: clear black with good beige soapy head and lacing. aroma/taste: caramel, lots of liquorice, coffee and light smoke. palette: strong roasted malty aroma, medium carbonation, medium to full body, average to notable sweetness, somewhat balanced by an average bitterness, medium to long duration and an oily texture. defiantly a downgrade compared to the original

Shared at deansos last THT. Pours black with a small tan head. Liquorice in your face, sweet roasted malts, almost smokey/burnt, salmiak, herbal syrup roasty. Very sweet with a roasty bitter. Medium body, low carbonation. Overpowering liquorice.
