Beautiful rich foam. Lovely malt notes characterize the aroma and the taste is lovely rich and deep. It contains lots of caramel, slightly floral notes from the hops and good fruity notes of orange peel and citrus. It is very tasty. rane (1060) - Nibe, DENMARK - FEB 19, 2012
Bottle. I had this one stored for about a year. I think I tasted it last year, but I don´t quite rememeber. Anyway it has developped so nicely. Dark amber with off white long lasting head. Aroma sweet sugar, belgium yeast and malt, some bread as well. Taste sweet malty, some weak madereized notes, soft and mellow and a long finish. I remember this beer as quite rough so nice now. Amber color with medium sized white head.
Slightly dull Easter beer, but does stand out a bit in a good way. PLundsgaard (482) - Tranbjerg J, DENMARK - MAY 23, 2011

Flaske: Orangegul klar øl med et tæt hvidt skumhoved. Duft af lagergær og en smule malt. Dejlig frisk smag fra karboneringen og alkoholen. Ellers er øllen en smule kedelig og anonym.

Bottle, 7.6%. Malt and spicy hoppiness in the aroma. Almost clear grey amber colour. Small stable off-white head. The flavour has some of the same spicy hop note as the aroma. The bitterness is a bit rough, and the maltiness perhaps also. Quite peppery finish. chrisv10 (17312) - DENMARK - APR 22, 2011
Bottle. Clear amber/golden with big off-white head. Flavour is malt, caramel, fruit, little sweet, hops and bitter. Stefano (2005) - Thisted, DENMARK - APR 21, 2011
Amber colour with a short-lasting white head. Light malty aroma. Light bitter flavor with some caramel notes. Short light bitter finish. Thin and boring finish. yngwie (17038) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - APR 18, 2011
Bottle. It’s a clear, dark amber beer with a firm, white, finger-thick head. Malty-sweet, fruity aroma with a slight peppery, grassy and piney hoppyness. Hints of caramel. Quite full-bodied, pleasantly carbonated. Decent bitterness in all phases, dealing well with the maltyness. Some caramel flavors. I realize now when entering my notes that it’s a quite strong beer, but it hides that really well, which must be said is unusual for a beer at this strength from the older Danish breweries. Overall, a nice and well crafted beer that I wouldn’t refuse drink more of. 110418 Camons (12315) - Hasselager, DENMARK - APR 16, 2011
