Reddish brown with big off-white head; aroma is sweet malty, caramel, grainy, some alcohol; taste is medium to high malty sweet, caramel, toasted malt, spicy herbal slightly boozy finish with cloying lingering sweetness; texture is syrupy with high carbonation

Milter (904) - Nyborg, DENMARK - MAR 29, 2017
En ordinær traditionel ale. Gode smagsnuancer, men ikke noget ekstraordinært. Tilpas med sødme i smagen.

[9/23/16] Bottle sample at hotel room tasting in Woerden. Thanks everyone for sharing! Golden. Aroma of caramel, cardboard, honey, a bit of fruitiness. Sweet flavor with honey, caramel, cardboard. Medium-bodied.

SinH4 (4708) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - SEP 24, 2016
Bottle. Amber-orange color with white head. Aroma is sprucy, syrupy, dusty, rusty nails. Taste is the same - basically tastes like old beer, but not as sticky.

Benzai (15446) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - SEP 23, 2016
Bottle shared at hotelroom tasting after Borefts Beer Festival Day 1. Clear amber color, small beige head. Smell and taste malts, caramelised sugar, dark candy sugar. Decent body and carbonation. Hmm drinkable.

Zlotta (3193) - Hagen / Bonn, GERMANY - SEP 23, 2016
Sampled from 0.5 l bottle at Best Western Woerden. Clear, dark amber with a beige head. Sweetish-malty aroma of caramel, honey and vanilla. Sweetish-malty taste of caramel, honey and vanilla, followed by a short, slightly bitter finish. Thin to medium body, slightly oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay!

Myonlyvice (287) - DENMARK - JUN 20, 2016
Light golden with a small fast dissipating head. Lots of caramel and some malt and citrus aroma. Slightly bitter aftertaste

hallinghansen (3125) - Odense SV, DENMARK - APR 8, 2016
Bottle. Clear amber body with a small head. Caramel, malty, ripe fruits. I don’t taste anything reminding me of hot lava stones like ashes or whatever. Decent.

nybol (1765) - DENMARK - MAR 31, 2016
Mørke malte med lidt karamel og ler ristet smag. Er desværre let syrlig i eftersmagen.

TorbenJensen (1517) - Valby, DENMARK - OCT 5, 2015
The color is reddish-brown and it has a nice dense foam. It has an aroma of fruit easily, very light caramel and hops. The flavor is very sweet and has a caramelized fill in a stable hoppy bitterness, leaving a long aftertaste. A slightly fruity nuance makes it delicate. It has very high similarity with a usual bock, slightly crispy, sweet and full-bodied. The alcohol, which after all represents 7.5% is not dominant but well hidden behind caramel malt.
