Draught at the Wharf in Aalborg. Thick black with a nice medium creamy, though short lasting, light brown head. Aroma of well roasted malts and chocolate. Flavour is smooth, bit creamy, nice bitter chocolate and roastiness, some liquorice, nice hoppiness (fruity) and rather dry finish. A good draught experimental porter.

Draught. Black colour, small creamy brown head. Very flavourful. Quite roasted, quite bitter, and a bit salty. Thick mouthfeel, low carbonation.

(Draught, The Wharf, Aalborg) - Black in colour. Roasty and slightly fruity nose. The taste has a mix of chocolate, liquorice and a hoppy fruityness. - Not bad at all, i just think the balance could be better... - That and a rather bizarre aftertaste counts down in the general impression...

Draft at Charlie’s. Black coloured with a creamy beige head. Roasted aroma with notes of liquorice and fruits. Roasted and fruity flavour with notes of liquorice. Dry roasted finish.

Draught at Charlies. Black coloured with small brown head. Roasty with minerally notes in the aroma and in the flavour. Lighter than the other porters from Thisted. I do not notice the cascade hops very much.

A black beer with a nice fluffy brown head. The aroma is sweet flowery combined with strong notes of chocolate, while the flavor is sweet with more subdued yet still persistent notes of chocolate, leading to a slightly bitter end. A very smooth and easily drinkable porter.
