There is something strange with all the Thisted brews that I don’t like. It must be the water that to me taste like calcium and soil. This one is no exception, probably a good one if brewed somewhere else. alkolas510 (1529) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - APR 22, 2017

Bottle. 5.8%. Best before 13.12.17. Pours a clear golden/amber with a diminishing, light tan/yellowish head. No lacing. Sweetish aroma with a distinct pine/resin note, which also has a sea buckthorn note to it. A wee bit cloying. Malt note in the background as it warms. Flavour is the same pine/resin/sea buckthorn note, with a perfumy hint thrown in as well. Light citrusy/tart note. Slightly grainy finish. Overall okay, and somewhat interesting, but also a bit too much in the long run. 23.11.16. martin00sr (4597) - Haderslev, DENMARK - SEP 22, 2016
Clear amber, small fizzy head. Herbal, malty aroma, notes of honey. Caramely flavour with a distinct herbal spicyness. mikkellund42 (936) - DENMARK - SEP 18, 2016
Bottle. Pours clear dark reddish amber with small white head. Aroma is very intense and refreshing with notes is lemon, rosehip, sea buckthorn, grass and "citronsodavand". Taste is medium sweet, light bitter and light to medium acidic. Body is watery with sparkling carbonation. Finish is long and lemonade-like refreshing with notes that follow the nose plus notes of stinging nettle and bog-myrtle. Very refreshing and surprisingly different.

Copenhagen 11/8 2016. 50 cl bottle from Fakta. Part of a series on "New Nordic inspired beers (you have to fight your way through buckthorn, ginger and juniper before you get to amber). Chunk of amber on the label. Pours clear amber with yellowish head. Settles as thin layer of foam. no lacing to speak of. Aroma is spicy and sour. Hints of resin and myrica. Aroma reminds me a bit of picled olives. light carbonation and slightly thick palate. Taste is medium sweet followed by more distinct herbal sourness. I get the same feeling as I would have if somebody forced me to drink a ginger juice: This is supposed to taste unpleasant so you can be sure it is healthy.
