Bolian (202) - - FEB 14, 2018
UPDATED: FEB 14, 2018 Pours dark brown clear, beige foam medium retention. Nose roasty / toast faint coffee. Taste is toasty, bread, coffee with a bitter finish. The coffee taste is somehow not spot on, some strange off taste is present.

UPDATED: DEC 1, 2017 Not sure if I like this beer. It pours out really dark brown, almost black, with a flashlight it’s a reddish dark brown. Taste- rather bitter at the start, after a while it does mellow out. Either that or I just get used to the bitterness. I really can taste the coffee in this. The taste lingers a good while after a sip. It’s got a good amount of carbonation in it too, and on pour a thick head that lingers a minute or so. All in all, if you like dark/ bitter beers and are a coffee lover you’ll probably like this Nice to have tried, but not my cup of tea (or in this case coffee)

Bottle. Color: Very dark ruby, thin light brown head. Taste: Bittery dark coffee, hints of chocolate. More medium sweet notes at the finish. Prety sparkling mouthfeel. Medium to above medium carbonation, medium to below medium body.

aroma is coffee and metallic. A bit thin and bitter on the tongue. Light sweet and metallic and some off flavors. Fresh I believe it would be much better. Nice coffee content. Needs more body though.
