(Bottle 33 cl) Dark, reddish brown with a small, off-white head. Flavours of roasted malt and caramel and actually very full. Sweet - sickingly sweet - I reckon this has more sugar than a cola. To be tried once - and never again. 081200 PetetheMeat (621) - Hove, DENMARK - OCT 14, 2004
Dark brown, off white short head. Low carbonation. Malty sweet aroma. Even more malty sweetness in the flavour. Notes of roasted malts as well. Brown sugar and traces of smoke too? The extreme sweetness is well balanced by some underlying sourness. The palate is soft and extraordinary smooth. This is indeed a good malty ale very similar to hvidøl. Extremely sweet! Some metallic bitterness. Might have used a bit of brown sugar. Though, a better malt-beer. jfm (1724) - Holbæk, DENMARK - JUN 18, 2004
Deep brown color with a slight off white head. The taste is very sweet and malty with strong notes of caramel. A little to sweet imho. Hildigöltur (5103) - København, DENMARK - JAN 17, 2004
Dark brown coloured. Very sweet and malty. Quite caramelly. Slightly smoked.

No a big fan of malt beer. Generally too sweet for me, and this one fits that category. A hint of roasted malt sneaks in the middle of this profile before the long sweet aftertaste. Think body and head. YogiBeera (2569) - New Jersey, USA - DEC 12, 2003
I guess the only way you could love this beer is if you got it as a child boiled in rye bread on Christmas - sorry Skinny and Hobbit - but otherwise - it is just plane sweet - maybe vanilla tobacco like. LoveCaissa (873) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - OCT 29, 2003
An old-fashioned power drink! Beautiful brown colour with a reddish glow. Sweet and malty aroma. Extremely sweet flavour but in an interesting way: actually it was surprisingly round and mild. Very thick mouthfeel. No bitterness. If I'd have to compare this with another type of beer, it would be the Danish "hvidtøl". Ungstrup (39092) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - MAY 12, 2003
Sweet licorice aand malty aroma with notes of sourness, probably from the brewing cereal it contains. The color is clear brown with a light brown beutiful head. The flavor is very maltsweet - too sweet for me - with strong notes of licorice, notes of wood and a stint of sourness. Not the best of its type - it's too sweet and tastes of brewing cereal. Sweet, sweet, sweet. But also with a bit of smoked aroma and flavor. .......
