33.cl. Botle. It is pretty bland but has a ok hop bitterness and it is not one you buy for a 2 time.
Earlier Rating: 11/23/2006 Total Score: 2.6
Bottle 33cl. Aroma, fresh hay. Color is golden almost like pilsner. Dry hay taste. Bitter long finish. 27-12-07 it has got a lot more sweetness to it now. 2.8 now.

Bottle 33cl. poured into a lager glass. Clear deep golden, small frothy white head, mostly diminishing, fair, lacing; aroma pale malts, grain, hay, caramel; taste medium sweet and bitter, mailty, grainy, caramel; malty sweetbitter aftertaste; medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation; decent Heller Bock.

[email protected], Copenhagen (ØJ-dag share 03/11/2016) - golden pour with white head. Bready malty and light citrus fruity combo, come caramel sweetness, floral and herbal hoppy into the finish.

nybol (2201) - DENMARK - MAY 21, 2016
En bock øl der smager af jul. Altså dvs. at ikke så skarp som de klassiske tyske bock, faktisk rigtig god, ikke mindst til prisen

PLundsgaard (483) - Tranbjerg J, DENMARK - APR 21, 2016
en rigtig god øl har en gylden farve der er flot skum, som holder dufter dejligt af humle og malt smagen er bitte/sød og kraftig bare det snart bliver jul igen :):)

DraftDodger (1529) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JAN 9, 2016
Copenhagen 9/1 2016. 33 cl bottle from Meny. Reindeer tip toeing around in the snow on the label. Pours clear yellow with big white head. Settles as thin layer of foam. Moderate lacing. Aroma is sugary sweet malts, metallic alcohol and sweaty sourness. Medium carbonation and slightly thick palate. Like many Danish strong beers pretty sweet and packed with alcohol. First impression is cloying sweetness and the aftertaste is boozy and a bit spiced. I don't think the reindeers would appreciate putting their good name at stake as namesake for this brew.

flot gylden ravfarve med let skumkrone...tæt.. smager egentlig rimelig , men savner lidt mere sødme ellers flot maltsmag..

Gubihumle (602) - Nørre Aaby, DENMARK - DEC 21, 2015
Flaske. Farven er gyldent rav med en hvid skumkrone. Aromaen er hø og græs medens smagen er lys malt og humle

Foffern (1879) - Bodø, NORWAY - DEC 12, 2015
Bottle at home. Pours a golden light amber with a creamy off-white head. Aroma of pale malt, dry hay, grass, sweet corn, alcohol, plastic bag and some metal. The flavor has more grassy hops, alcohol and dry hay and sweet corn in the aftertaste. Has a soft and slick mouth feel, medium body and a light to medium bitterness. A relatively clean heller bock but there are some off-flavors.

Cunningham (7982) - Halden, NORWAY - FEB 14, 2015
Appearance: Clear golden color with a small white head. Some lacing.
Aroma: Deep malty, mild fruity and a bit grassy.
Palate: Medium (+) body. A bit sweet and a moderate bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Deep malty, mild fruity, some alcohol and herbal grassy.
Overall impression: Just horrible.
Personal stats: Bottle from Systembolaget in Sweden

I had quite a lot danish beers in the last months and was often dissaponted. Here, on paper, a strang lager with an alcohol percentage of nearly 8% awaits me. Should be a nice winter beer… But the body is surprisingly light. The aroma is malty, a subltle hop bitterness comes along a stickt sweet plum side. The finish is peppery bitter. Well, again not the beer I thought, maybe better than some of the others I had, Danish mid range though. It’s the first organic brew in my new rating list. So it’s the best one! And the worst…. But seriously, this beer is again one of these needless beers that would dissaper in no time in a beer country like Belgium or the US.
