yngwie (17078) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAR 31, 2009
Bottle from trade with Maria. It’s looking just lovely in the glass, with a dense tan head sitting on an opaque black body. Some licorice blend in with mocha coffee and some dried fruits in the aroma. Chocolate, some notes of salty licorice, coffee and dried fruits in the flavor. Full-bodied, slightly warming and dry mouthfeel. Dry, coffee and chocolate finish with some hoppy bitterness. Really delicious. (090327)

TheDog (586) - Aarhus, DENMARK - FEB 26, 2009
Bottle 0,5L dkr 39,- . Black colour with a very very nice and creamy beige head. Aroma and taste of fresh grinded coffee, dark chocolate and toffee. The same as Thisted Thy Porter. Its brewed and bottled in Thisted, a "few" miles from Læsø.. At the end of the day, its a great porter anyway.

[Bottle @ Odense Tasting, 14th February 2009]
Bought @ Kolding Vinhandel
Pours deep brown with a very impressice, creamy, beige head. Great lacing. Aroma is sweet, has good roasted notes, light dark chocolate and a subdued note of smoke. Frothy mouthfeel with light carbonation. Flavour starts with just a faint hint of vegetable, but then turns towards better stuff. Pleasantly roasted, a touch of coffee and a long, lingering dry finish. Nice.

Bottle, bought @ Høkeren, Cph.
Deep brown, bordering on black. A great, big, creamy cappuccino head. Great duration. Aroma is rather sweet, lots of chocolate, light coffee and toffee. Okay mouthfeel, quite creamy. Flavour is rather sweet again, with some malt astringency, chocolate, light coffee and good dryness from the malts. Doesn’t seem as composed as the forsøgsbryg, but still a nice brew!

turbothy (1141) - Bonn, GERMANY - JAN 24, 2009
50cl bottle. Pours jet black with cream coffee head. Coffee aroma. Roast malty flavour with a not too well-concealed alcoholic sting. Nice flavour, but not well-rounded.

Grovlam (4252) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JAN 11, 2009
50 cl. Bottle. Nice large creamy light brown head that mostly lasted. Fair display of lacework. Black color. Aroma was quite lovely with notes of roasted coffee and strong notes of chocolate. Also notes of roasted malt, liquorish, hint of dried fruity and mild dry hoppy feel over the palate. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation and a very smooth delicious texture. Moderated sweet flavor with light counter bitterness. Lingering sweet chocolate finish. Very impressive Porter I thought.
