0.5 L bottle from Superbrugsen Tranbjerg, Samsø, as ’’Thisted 6 Porter’’. A tall and dense light choco-brown head, resting on a dark brown to near black body. Mild coffee, dark dried fruits, roasted nuts, faint marzipan, and gently roasted dark malts to the nose. Taste is more than medium sweet. Lightly roasted chocolate-accented dark malts in the lead. Notes of brown sugar, creamed coffee and earthy bitterness. Medium full, kind of chalky texture. A pretty tasty and complex Porter, I prefer them less sweet, though.

MotherBrother (945) - Aalborg, DENMARK - JAN 8, 2012
Pour opaque dark brown, with little head. Aroma of sweet licorice, roasted malts and coffee. A bit bitter chocolate. The taste is a little bitter, and doesn’t hide the alcohol that well. Medium bodied, with low carb.
