Pours a black colour with a small foamy head. Aroma of roasted malts and sweet fruits. Flavour of roasted malts, mild coffee, sweet fruits and hay. Medium bodied with a slick mouthfeel. Finishes coffee-like and raisiny. Clearly the best from the Thisted 1-6 series.

Bottle. Black with medium beige head. Flavour is roasted malts, liquorice, sweet, chocolate and bitter.

Bottle 50 cl. Black pour with a light brown head of medium length. A complex beer with many impressions without some really comes into karts. Aroma and flavor has notes of toasted malt and some fruit politely. Alcohol and sweetness dominate the aftertaste. POLK (2219) - Hørning, DENMARK - FEB 26, 2011
The beer impresses while poured, both in the lovely black color and beautiful light brown foam. The taste is slightly tart and obviously well roasted as a porter should be. It seems a little watery (color and alc. taken into account) but the aftertaste is good and characterized whit lots of chocolate malt.

Bottle, named Laesö Porter. Black beer, small brown head. Licorice aroma, metal, cocoa, black currant, chocolate. Tar flavor, licorice and metal, chocolate. Hoppy finish. jesperhammer (4874) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - FEB 13, 2011
13-FEB-2011, bottle @home, from Superbest.
Dark brown, with light brown head.
Nose is roasted coffee like but has an earthy addition that I am not very crazy about.
Taste is much better. Nicely roasted with coffee as the dominant element. Ends a bit thin, but perhaps that only makes it easier to drink?
Very fine porter. TBone (17996) - Pori, FINLAND - DEC 3, 2010
Bottled as "Laeso Porter" 500ml @Beer Hunters (BB 08/2011)
Dark opaque brown color, small beige head. Coffee, dark malts, hints of caramel and licorice. Medium to full bodied. Coffee, toasted coffeish malts. Dry, dark malty flavor. Feels like a Baltic Porter. Decent.
