Far too sweet and fizzy more of an alcopop than a cider, one half pint may be ok, but any more and it becomes sickly. Poorest cider tasted in a long time and thats since the launch of cidre.

Bottle shared with Teresa. As Thistly Cross Traditional. Pale yellow, clear and still, diminishing white head. Aroma is sugary, red apple, honey. Body is smooth with low carbonation. Taste has more honey, apple, syrupy sugars. A particularly sweet cider. Not really my thing.

No head whatsoever . Like pouring apple juice. Smells like apple juice. Some sweetness on nose. Light golden. Ooh the tartness follows the sweetness and dries . Light and fresh. Nice but shame its so pricey in scotland for such small bottles. Ok

Bottle. clear light greenish gold. A little sulphuric and apple tart in the nose. Sweetish, a little sugary, but slightly tart too. Medium body, soft fizz, sweetish finish but tolerable.

Keg at Sir Walter Scott, Edinburgh Airport. It pours clear pale greenish gold with a tiny white head. The nose is.soft, juicy, sweet apple, pear, melon, apple pie, caramelized sugars and fruit pie. The taste is sweet apple, light tartness, melon, honey, mild sugary, acidity, touch of mouth-pucker with a short, sweet apple finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Its a bit sweet for the likes of me, but a getting through a half was no bother.
