Far too sweet and fizzy more of an alcopop than a cider, one half pint may be ok, but any more and it becomes sickly. Poorest cider tasted in a long time and thats since the launch of cidre.

Tap. Clear golden color with no head. Aroma is nutty, apple skin, woody. Taste is nutty, apple skin, tasty apples. Medium carbonation. Tasty, but totally weird - nearly like a sherry. I like sherry.

Keg in the Beer Hall in Staveley. Straw coloured with white froth. Sweet apple with a little sourness. OK

Keg at Heidrun, 29/07/17. Pale yellow with a vague head of bubbles that soon vanishes into the ether. Nose is corn, apple peel, straw, light floral notes. Taste comprises apple pie, moderately sweet, light wood. Medium bodied, fine to spritzy carbonation, drying close. Ok to average fayre.

Aus der Flasche im Loch Ness Pub Berlin im 2017-07 getrunken. Wunderbare Apfelnote wo die Säure durch eine honigartige Süsse eingefangen wird. Vollmundig und Lecker.

Bottle - pours a clear light pale yellow colour with a tiny white head that quickly dissipated. Green apple and sulphur aroma and a sweet apple juice flavour with a light apple tartness.

Sidro discreto con bassissima carbonazione ed elevata dolcezza, mela zuccherina, sembra quasi uno spumante dolce sfiato.

Bottle shared with Teresa. As ’Thistly Cross Traditional’. Pale yellow, clear and still, diminishing white head. Aroma is sugary, red apple, honey. Body is smooth with low carbonation. Taste has more honey, apple, syrupy sugars. A particularly sweet cider. Not really my thing.

No head whatsoever . Like pouring apple juice. Smells like apple juice. Some sweetness on nose. Light golden. Ooh the tartness follows the sweetness and dries . Light and fresh. Nice but shame it’s so pricey in scotland for such small bottles. Ok
