Keg at malt and hops. Pours purple, tart, fruity, sugary, light bitterness, tastes like juice. AshtonMcCobb (6897) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 5, 2014
On tap at the Cobbles in Kelso. Appearance - dark toffee to chestnut with a generous frothy head. Nose - toffee and fruit. Taste - blackcurrant completely comes through but with a lovely malt background. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a refreshing finish. Overall - yeah good merging of styles. Cask, half at The Blue Blazer. Dark reddish body appearance. Fair white head. Sweet berries to the nose, like blackcurrant juice. The taste follows the nose with sweet berries to the fore, this time a bit jam-like. Berries and fruits to the ending with a little note of tartness to it. Reminds me of a cider. Drinkable without further excitements (Edinburgh 09.08.2013). JohnRMurdoch (5047) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - AUG 10, 2013

Cask @ Blue Blazer. Murky dark red. Fruity aroma. Bramble & apple flavour. More like a fruit juice than an alcoholic drink. I like it.
On tap at blue blazer light fruity pink purple in colour with sweet Apple and blackcurrant almost like a soft drink but with a cider apple bite seriously easy drinking

Cock Tavern. Keg. Very hazy red- pink beer. Residual pink head! Light palate, semi dry. Fine carbonation. Big sweet apple! Tempered by tangy blackcurrant and a little plum. Finishes dry and tangy, Well this is different! Pretty drinkable!
Cask by handpump at Blue Blazer, Edinburgh - cloudy red, bubbly white head, no lacing, apple and bramble aroma and flavour, very easy to drink BeerCast_Rich (1906) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 22, 2013
[cask at Brauhaus, Edinburgh] On gravity, it’s an opaque pinkish red, looking like a beetroot smoothie. As you would expect, the predominant flavour is blackcurrant, sweet berry fruit, grapes and lots of juice. There’s a fair tingle of cider at the end, as some of the apple bitterness come out. At no point does it taste of alcohol - which, of course, was the original intention [keg at Brauhaus, Edinburgh] On keg, sampled side by side, it’s even better – the carbonation lifts it, adds more bitterness from the cider component, and the colder serve evens out the sweetness (depending on your preference, of course). Both are supremely drinkable – always the main appeal of Snakebite, over the years score is keg version cgarvieuk (25984) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 21, 2013

Cask at Craft Beer Rising. It pours deep red with a medium off-white head. The nose is jam, blackcurrant, tanginess, apple, red grape and some farmyard. The taste is fruity, tangy berry, blackcurrant jam, apple, crisp sourness and red grape with a dry, lightly tart finish. Smooth, well balanced and just massively drinkable. Nice work!
