1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Pours clear amber with a finger of tan head. Aroma has some faint caramel malt character to it but the rest just seems to be some musty yeastiness. Flavor is not much of an improvement. I try to pick out at least one part of the palate that is enjoyable, but can’t really find any. This is a sub-par amber.
Pours a clear dark amber with light head. Has a strong caramel malt aroma. A mix of flavors including caramel, roasted malts, grains, and some fruits. A lingering caramel malt aftertaste. geologyguy (1602) - Columbia, South Carolina, USA - AUG 5, 2015
Light malty smell, little sweet off the bat...turns a touch bitter, a bit toasty over time...decent but a little too watery GIJOE (1204) - North Berwick, Maine, USA - JUN 14, 2015
Pours reddish-brown like coke with a thin off-white head. Medium bodied. Moderate carbonation. A little sweet. Dusty, astringent finish. Not bad.

Old rating. Decidedly average and boring amber with all that entails…color, malty body, some sweetness, medium body. Tmoney99 (14479) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAR 19, 2015
Bottle shared by Dr Silverworm. Poured clear brown hue with medium frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Medium aroma of toasted malt. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium flavor of sweet malt with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Smooth drinkable brew.

12oz bottle, purchased on 2/23/15 from Habersham in Savannah. Shared with tmoney99. Bottle is labeled 6.8%. Mostly clear amber-brown color, with some dark particles in the body. Little ring of bubbly off-white head, few bits of lace. Toasty malt, and some caramel. Touch of dark fruit. Mildly spicy and earthy. Moderate bitter, light to moderate sweet. Medium to bigger body. Lighter, slightly rough carbonation. Mild slick finish. Surprisingly, one of the better Thomas Creek beers I picked up (I was beginning to get more and more nervous every time I popped a bottle open). Good bigger bitterness on this, good bigger flavor. A solid, darker, earthier hoppier amber ale. biznizness (1128) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - OCT 22, 2014
Tap takeover at Matthews Beer Temple. Very average amber ale. Well balanced but not memorable at all. Pass. DrinkinWell (389) - - JUL 27, 2014
Pours a clear amber with a bit of lacing. Spices, brown sugar on the nose. Roasted malts, molasses, hints of sugar. A really unexceptional amber ale. The worst Thomas Creek beer I’ve tried so far. chinchill (4994) - South Carolina, USA - JUN 18, 2014
12 oz bottle; undated.
Pours a clear deep reddish amber. Has a smallish off-white head that leaves little lacing.
The aroma is rather light, but has a promising mix of toasted malt and spicy hops. As anticipated, the flavor is neither bold nor strong but, like the aroma, is a well balanced mix of hops and malts, with the hops in the background. Sweet up front, then becoming balanced by the finish.
M: medium-light body; adequate, if a bit light, carbonation.
O: an easy drinking beer. Recommended for fans of this style. gnoff (10336) - Mölndal, SWEDEN - MAY 31, 2014

Hazy copper color, small tan head. Sweet, malty, cardamon scent. Sweet, malty taste. Fizzy mouthfeel, medium bitterness.
