Appearance: Black with a small beige head and light lacing
Aroma: Roasted malts, chocolate and banana
Taste: Roasted malts, grainy and chocolate
Rbwg thanks for bringing. Black pour with reddish notes and off white head. Arena of chocolate bananas and bread. This really does smell like a banana split. Tastes like one too. A bit sweet but good for a dessert beer. Leighton (22056) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 23, 2013
Bottle at RBwG 2013 Grand Tasting. Pours black with a fine cream head. Creamy chocolate nose with bananas in the background. Big sweet flavor, lovely chocolate notes, some mellow roast. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish but not cloying, chocolate and very mellow banana, low bitterness. Tasty stuff. Good balance. aobecksy (700) - Middle of no where, Ohio, USA - FEB 23, 2013
Mine says chocolate also on lable, though no real chocolate flavor. Banana taste is dried banana not fresh....a bit weak in comparison to other sweet stouts drowland (8955) - Georgia, USA - FEB 23, 2013
2/23/13. RBWG. Black pour with a nice tan head. Laid back sweet lactose and chocolate aroma and flavor, but I can’t say I get much banana. Not bad.

Brown black pour with tan head and lace. Aroma of chocolate and banana. Sour chocolate with over ripe banana. Medium bodied and fizzy. Stldsf1 (616) - Florida, USA - FEB 17, 2013
Deep black pour. Thick foamy brown head. Malt and soft banana on nose. Dark chocolate almost bakers chocolate with banana afterwards. Good stout. Drink it.

UPDATED: APR 25, 2013 Growler… Pitch black pour with a small, creamy, well-tanned head. Decent retention. The aroma is reminiscent of a Dunkelweizen or possibly even a Weizen Bock; only the banana component is more pronounced here and there’s no clove phenol to go with the plentiful, dark, chocolaty malts. Full-bodied with a lightly creamy mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. The flavor offers dark chocolate, loads of banana and whispers of fudge, tobacco and molasses. Remarkably well-balanced. Finishes deeply roasted and lightly bitter. Muchos kudos to Elliesbrown for shipping this surprisingly good beer my way! b3shine (9079) - Indiana, USA - FEB 10, 2013
750 ml bottle to oversized snifter (Shared with the Mrs.). Abv is listed as 7.5% and the IBU is 52. Full name (as it appears on the bottle) is "Thomas Creek Banana Split Chocolate Stout". Looks good; black with foamy beige head that dissipates into lacing fairly quickly. Smells decent; as the name suggests with dark malt and hop notes. Tastes like it smells, only better, with a nice, smooth mouthfeel and a well-balanced banana presence. A solid take on the style. jcartamdg (3522) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 10, 2013
pours dark brown almost black with no head. Aroma of bananas and thats about it, very banana forward. Taste follows, crazy banana presence with a hint of chocolate in the finish. Very thin for a stout, not loving the mouthfeel. Kind of gimicky but glad to have tried it
