Slightly hazed amber/orange with a creamy tan head.
Aroma of sweet grain, strawberry, toffee....
Taste is creamy toffee malt, light fruit, toasty malts.
Sweet and fruity.
Very pleasant. DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 28, 2015
12oz bottle, picked up from Habersham in Savannah on 2/23/15. No date, just a barely-legible code on the bottle. Shared with b3shine (he left me with 3/4). Clear orange amber color. Thin off-white head, just a dot or two of lace sticks. Big caramel malt, toasty, mild mustiness. Some over ripe fruit. Doesn’t taste fresh to me, and if it is fresh, then this is a very boring bad unbalanced one-note red ale. Moderate-plus sweet taste, light bitter. Mild bite in the finish. Light dry finish. Medium body. Kind of crisp lighter carbonation. Nope.. It’s not horrible, but I’m not at all in love with this. Just a caramel malt bomb. After 4oz I have no interest in finishing this... But I’ll try, because I hate wasting beer. Reading others’ reviews as I try to finish the last bit here now. Definitely seeing the vegetal. Little herbal hop. b3shine (8864) - Indiana, USA - FEB 28, 2015
Draft to taster (shared by DrSilverworm). Looks solid; a fairly transparent slightly reddish orange with eggshell head that steadily dissipates into thin lacing. Smells solid too; a nice balance of caramel, toast, roast, and a bit of hops. Tastes like it smells, but not as balanced, with a fairly sticky medium-bodied mouthfeel. More toast than roast. On the tongue. Not bad. chinchill (4980) - South Carolina, USA - JAN 15, 2015
12 oz bottle in pint glass
red-orange tinted dark amber; crystal clear with short-lived and smallish white head
Aroma - a rather unimpressive toasted malt and cereal with hints of dark fruit
T - toasted malt; neither complex nor bold. Noticeably and nicely bitter [IBU = 21], but seems too sour.
M - Light-medium bodied; moderate carbonation; quite smooth
D - a pleasant red ale for sure, but too plain and subtle to generate much interest. kaser (6312) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 26, 2014
Sweet carmel fruity and apple taste. Malty and full flavor red. 12pz bottle pour at Edison. Tons of sticky white head. Massive aroma and taste. Interesting for sure.

Bottle. Clear amber in colour, with a slight, white head. Sweet and slightly spicy, with a moderately bitter finish. So so. JHeath99 (1678) - Warner Robins, Georgia, USA - OCT 9, 2014
Bottle. Pours a transparent amber with a thin layer of beige head. Aroma of malts and some fruit. Taste is pretty basic, malts and some sweetness. GreatDane1632 (1169) - North Dakota, USA - SEP 26, 2014
Rated from notes taken 6 Aug 2011 -- I really think this is a very nice red ale. Great flavor with just a hint of roastiness. blipp (9268) - La Mesa, California, USA - JUN 26, 2014
Bottle. Pours amber with an off white head. Light toasted malts, hints of earthy sweetness, mild floral hops, and a quick clean finish. Not bad. TheHopster (1111) - Netcong, New Jersey, USA - JUN 24, 2014
(bottle) Drank with my Irish buddy, Con, during the World Cup, who agreed this was well done. Clear copper complexion with this head. Very smooth and sessionable with mildly roasted malt and authentic pub flavor.
