6/4/17. Happy Birthday to me! 12oz bottle from Five Points. Clear golden pour with a nice off-white head. Grainy aroma, barely a hint of vanilla. Grainy flavor, corn chips, caramel, grass, not much vanilla. Eh. Sirmixsomewhat (266) - Paoli, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 12, 2016
This beer is seriously lacking on any distinguishing features. It's bland in color and taste and I can't smell a thing when I drink it. It's not bad to drink, but it certainly isn't something I'd buy again. RobertDale (6573) - Lansing, Kansas, USA - NOV 22, 2015
12 ounce bottle. Pours a pale gold with a decent white head. Aroma of malt, vanilla, and fruit. Taste is malt, vanilla, citrus, and caramel. Not bad. ordybill (1805) - Douglasville, Georgia, USA - SEP 2, 2015
Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. A golden yellow brew with a sweet vanilla aroma and taste. A nice mild bodied beer with moderate to heavy carbonation that was well balanced with the vanilla flavor. A good session beer. srwalker155210 (108) - Port Orange, Florida, USA - AUG 31, 2015
I'm not usually one for gimmick tastes in my beer, but the vanilla in this really works. Probably the greatest thing to come out of the Carolinas...

12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Pours yellow, clear, small white head and medium lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus fruit and grain. Taste is sweet, some grain, some vanilla hints but mostly malts. Enjoyable, refreshing, not bad. kaser (6314) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 26, 2014
Didn't expect much from a 'cream ale' but this is really tasty. Yellow pour from can at Edison. White thin head. Lemon and vanilla notes. Just a poundable beer superspak (5688) - Michigan, USA - OCT 25, 2014
12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 4/15/2013. A moderate gusher upon opening. Pours slightly hazy bright golden color with a 1-2 finger dense white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of lemon, cracker, biscuit, light honey, herbal, grass, light vanilla, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pale malt, earthy hops, and light vanilla notes; with decent strength. Taste of lemon, cracker, biscuit, light honey, vanilla, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Minimal earthy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, cracker, biscuit, light honey, vanilla, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice balance and robustness of pale malt, earthy hops, and vanilla flavors; with a solid malt/bitterness balance and some slightly cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth, fairly crisp, and slightly creamy mouthfeel that is okay. Alcohol is well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected for 4.5%. Overall this is a solid cream ale. Good robustness and balance of pale malt, earthy hops, and vanilla flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A pleasant and enjoyable offering. Light and clean but more reminiscent of a hefeweizen than a cream ale. Not a whole lot going on in the way of aroma and flavor, but refreshing nonetheless.
