Bottled. A light golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of straw and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw and malt, leading to a dry finish.

Bottle at Papsoe. Clear golden colour with a white head. Aroma and flavour of vanilla, malt, and notes of hops.

CloakedDagger (2481) - - JUL 26, 2013
Bottle 35,5 cl. Pours a clear yellow with a small, white head. Slightly grainy, candy-like aroma. Medium body, slightly sweet malts....and then nothing. It’s wet, it will quench your thirst. And that’s it. 260713

Bottle: Pours a light yellow with an off white head. Not much aroma, almost like a lager with a bit of vanilla. Smooth taste with light mouth feel, hints of cream and vanilla. Slight initial sweetness but finishes a little dryer. A solid, to style cream ale with a bit of vanilla. Nothing setting it apart, but a nice warm weather, sessionable cream ale.

Great summer beer. Tastes like a blonde ale with a nice touch of vanilla flavor on the end. Light body and good taste

Draft at Sybarite Pig. American pint glass. Yellow clear pour with thick white head. Aroma is mostly a vanilla cake with vanilla icing. Slightly white bread as well. Taste is similar. Very smooth mouth with vanilla on front and finish. I actually liked it as a desert post steak dinner.

12oz Bottle. My first South Carolina tick, finally! Aroma bubbles up with a good bit of vanilla and then some DMS. On the palate this tastes like liquid corn flakes and other sugary processed corn-based breakfast cereals laden with vanilla. The breadth of this beer ends about there. The vanilla quality is okay and is not overbearing, it’s just that the emergent quality of cereal is not entirely enjoyable for me.

deaconmike (470) - Roswell, Georgia, USA - MAY 15, 2013
Poured from a bottle. Clear yellowish gold, minimal head, some splotchy lacing. Very little aroma - and definitely no vanilla. A little like dishwater. Taste is a bit soapy, yeasty, and not much vanilla to speak of. Mouthfeel is light. Overall, this wasn’t what I was expecting - not really creamy or vanilla - actually more like a lager.

HighlanderOne (1330) - York, SC via NJ, South Carolina, USA - MAY 4, 2013
Poured from bottle. Smells like lager hops and rye. Has color of lite beer but head persists. Interesting flavor of vanilla, rye, hay with sweet vanilla aftertaste. Grass notes as well. Dry and crisp. A hint of pepper. Maybe I’m missing something, but I like this stuff. Good summer choice.

chinchill (4995) - South Carolina, USA - MAY 3, 2013
12 oz bottle poured clear light golden with what looks like a high amount of carbonation. Large, sudsy white head is durable. Ho-hum aroma and flavor is too much like a macro lager...but with vanilla. High but seemingly appropriate carbonation; light body. O: refreshing but timid.
